Dear,Sharmila tagore wasn't available for shooting on this song. Only Rejash Khana was shot there n Sharmila's Train scene was done in Studio only...

Did anybody note that this tune was inspired by Tequila? Sachin (the evergreen chocolate boy of Bollywood) revealed this fact in a reality show. Just compare these two and you'll be convinced. SDB assimilated the original and produced his own masterpiece. He didn't copy like the shameless copycats of the present time

@Lahoreumar Indeed. ANd agree with kunalbajpai - it is indeed a "national anthem" for the guys on the prowl!

Keeping with the song she should have been reading Mills & Boon

The majestically jaunty and boisterously exuberant acting of Rajesh Khanna
has made this a legend of a song. This song made Kishore Kumar the king of
playback singers and Rajesh shot to the heights of stardom. The direction of
Shakti Samantha speaks for itself. The train journey to Darjeeling running
almost parallel with the winding road was an excellent shooting
location. This hearty song has the bewitching effect to amazingly lift the
soul of a tired, weary and low spirited person to heights.

@lalwanimoti I wish but so far I know that it wasn't a song from a movie, I
don't know who was the music director for this and I am guessing he sang
this song around the same time he sang the hindi version.

@guileniam That necessarily is not the solution. It may still lead to
conflicts. We can exist with peace and harmony even if we are two nations.
That's exactly where we have to decide whether we want to destroy our
future fighting or we can just accept each other.

TraceyLouise2260 on Saturday, October 15, 2011
This film makes me sad, It is brilliant. But what makes me sadder is the
fact that this film is not known where I am from, especially in this year.
It is a great story and it is the only film I have cried to :)

The Location is Darjeeling, West Bengal; it is known as the queen of all
hill stations. You must have tasted Darjeeling tea; it is the same place.
You can still ride a toy train here, can see beautiful sunrise from Tiger
hills, during winter can see snow-fall.
