Perfect song - perfect music, perfect singing, perfect lyrics and perfect acting on-screen.

The lyrics change just a little with each hero. I love that fine touch.

Sahaded Jahangier on Friday, January 02, 2009

malihawkeye on Friday, March 12, 2010
@sudhirrafi Totally Agree. It's amazing how she changes her voice to suit
all three actresses. Go LataJi

malihawkeye on Friday, March 12, 2010
Filmi Hindi is exactly the same as general Urdu except a few words. Real
Hindi and Real Urdu are two different languages.

@marz146 come on :)

Pearl Harbor on Wednesday, April 14, 2010
@bhaspurk22 depends, pure hindi and pure urdu are different. the modern
hindi which is a mix of urdu and hindi is understood by both but urdu
speakers don't know pure hindi words similarly hindi speaker may not know
pure urdu words which are actually persian and arabic origins.

bhaspurk22 on Wednesday, April 14, 2010

This is gem of Indian film history. A film of Manmohan Desai which has a
very very high entertainment value. See it for 1000 times and still won't
get bored. I remember it from before its release the advertisement came in
the newspaper for the advance booking and I was 5-6 years old and I said to
my uncle I wanted to see this movie. Since then I have seen this film
several times but never feel bored. Also to let the music lovers know that
this song has voices of Kishor, Mukesh, Rafi and Lata.

a superb and sweet, melodious song. i like it very much!!!!!!

SuperAkki1 on Saturday, November 19, 2011
@MrHearts1987 You weren't rude, its kind of true. The early 2000's marked
the end of such movies. Most movies now are just commercial successes.

SuperAkki1 on Monday, November 21, 2011
@MrHearts1987 haha yeh you are right. I can't say much about the spelling,
but the translation was perfect.

Lol@ 04:54, Mukri the father of the heroine waving the red flag, because he didnt approve of the realtionship between his daughter and the hero (Rishi kapoor). Always makes me laugh. Rishi Kapoor on the other hand is waving the green flag obviously.

This was the Golden Era of Bollywood

Jumpstart Jimbo on Friday, March 09, 2012
A unique piece indeed. An out-and-out commercial movie acquired classical
status. I bought a cheap VCD player pinching every penny of my hostel mess
bill in 1980s. just to watch this movie over and over again. Now at the
ripe age of 50+ I am watching it on my wall-to-wall LCD with surround sound
with my extended family around. The thrill is still there- unchanged.

If you notice NOT much has changed in the story line of Indian movies, some
of the context the stories are based on: How much one loves the other.
How painful 'LOVE' can be .Broken HEARTS', What will I gain from LOVING
another; it's the same thing over and over again, just with different
casts!

virat kohli on Wednesday, April 04, 2012
This was the only song sung by three legends- Rafi, Kishor and Mukesh. One
more thing- Mukesh died even before release of this film.

vikash krishna on Sunday, April 08, 2012
