fooloof on Friday, January 08, 2010
i don't understand the lyrics, but the track is pretty dope. is that Hindi?

fooloof on Thursday, January 21, 2010
what's with the sarcasm? Certainly I asked an intelligent question. With
many different languages spoken in India, such as Bengali and Punjabi, that
this song is in Hindi would not be a forgone conclusion. Best.

fooloof on Thursday, January 21, 2010
@CherryGal3214 Bingo! I don't know anything about Hindi movies; I don't
live in India. I live in Los Angeles. Sorry to break it to you, but Yash
Chopra isn't a big name out here. I looked up his movies and can't even
pronounce the titles! Save it for Bollywood, Deepa.

fooloof on Thursday, January 21, 2010
I'm not bragging about LA; I'm just saying that Chopra is no Steven
Spielberg. Don't try and clown someone because they haven't heard of a
nobody. Big props to your white friends. Forget your "white" name; you're
Indian, are you not? End of story.

fooloof on Friday, January 22, 2010
@CherryGal3214 yes, it's most definitely stereotypical. my point is that
you're Indian, and very few people outside of the Indian community, whether
on the subcontinent or in the diaspora, know who Chopra is. So, it was
silly of you to criticize me for not knowing who he is, much less the
language of this song. All I did was ask an honest question because I am
trying to have an open mind. You responded with unnecessary sarcasm.
Sarcasm just makes people feel bad. Nothing positive about it.

sabbirsa on Saturday, March 06, 2010
@fooloof Then why is there a need to watch sth you don't like. That way you will save yourself time and won't have to make fake efforts to be open minded. Lord.

fooloof on Saturday, March 06, 2010
@sabbirsa: if i didn't have an open mind, then i would have never watched
something like this. and whether or not someone likes something has nothing
to do with "true open-mindedness." being open-minded is being willing to
try things that are different. besides, you are involving yourself in a
discussion between another person and me. I see that she removed all her
remarks, so you don't really know what we were talking about. it's best to
avoid commenting on things you don't understand.

sabbirsa on Saturday, March 06, 2010
@fooloof Actually statements like " the track is pretty dope. Is it in Hindi" are not examples of being open minded. See for example I absolutely loved one of the songs from the film Kandukondain Kandukondain (Tamil movie) which is not my mother tongue. So I asked one of the YT users who happen to speak Tamil to translate it to me so that I can better appreciate it. That is called being open minded. You came here to watch a Hindi song however you already had preconceived notion.

sabbirsa on Saturday, March 06, 2010
@fooloof And by the way I can and will comment on whatever it is that comes my way. I don't need you to tell me where I should and should not comment. Also always remember Indian movies are made exclusively for Indians and South Asians who represent the biggest market when it comes to film industry. Its not meant to entertain foreigners. So that maybe one reason you did not understand the music or the song.

shilpa82494 on Friday, April 09, 2010
@fooloof dude it's not our fault you are deprived and can't pronounce the names of movies...u should atleast be able to tell that much that it is in hindi =P

fooloof on Saturday, April 10, 2010
@shilpa82494: and it's not my fault that your language isn't known outside
of the Indian diaspora. i don't feel the least bit deprived. why should i?
i speak English, which is spoken all over the world.

yourdeadin on Tuesday, May 18, 2010
@Xzibillionaire He wants his ticket to hollywood back!

pind4life on Wednesday, May 19, 2010
abheikh was goodly directed here

devoutxcynic on Wednesday, June 09, 2010
@fooloof i'm sorry but there is no excuse for your ignorance. I can tell when anything's in thai, mandarin, cantonese, korean, japanese, hindi, punjabi, portugese, spanish, dutch etcetcetc and i only speak 4 languages. It's general knowledge.

fooloof on Wednesday, June 09, 2010
@devoutxcynic: what "ignorance" is that? if anything, i am showing a
greater knowledge of india than most by NOT assuming the language is hindi.
as you know, there are several different languages spoken in India,
including hindi, punjabi, bengali, gujarati, etc. most non-Indians don't
know this. it is preposterous to suggest that someone is "ignorant" because
he cannot distinguish between the above languages. besides, i speak the
only language that matters.

@MsSargam well i was born In Usa But my family is from Peru

spartan7326 on Sunday, July 04, 2010
@sabbirsa actually fooloof is right. Just because he doesn't know what the
song actually means (and just because he didn't ask) doesn't mean he's
close-minded. If he's not Indian and he is willing to listen to this song,
that is pretty open-minded. And how do you know he had a preconceived
notion when all he said was that the track is dope? Also, what does the
target audience (Indians) have to do with his comment? It's not like he
said I hate this song because I don't understand it

sabbirsa on Sunday, July 04, 2010
I don't even remember when I made the comment and the contents of it. Do yourself a favour and ignore me all together. thanks.
