Lyrics / Video of Song : Ticket To Hollywood

akhiyon ke nile sheesh mehal mein
soniye ni soniye beh ja ni beh ja
do din jeena hai ik din reh ja
tere bina jeena bhi kya

os mein bi kholi mint ki goli, meri khushbu bi ba
ganni se kaante manjhe, ki dori kaategi tu bi ba
ona pona hi sahi, dil ka kona hi sahi
lauta de mera, ticket to hollywood
ticket to hollywood, are ticket to hollywood lauta de
are ticket to hollywood, are ticket to hollywood lauta de
os mein bi kholi mint ki goli, meri khushbu bi ba
ganni se kaante manjhe, ki dori kaategi tu bi ba

jameen se do inch upar, hawa pe chalati hai tu
kahin pairon ka nishaan, jo pade toh chhupu
shehar ke uss mod pe, par jahaan se tu paas ho
toh main jindagibhar wahi pe rukun
no no musiye no no itana, simple nahi chal dafa ho kahi
ho thenge se tera, ticket to hollywood
ticket to hollywood, are ticket to hollywood lauta de
are ticket to hollywood
ticket to hollywood, are ticket to hollywood lauta de

give me, give me, give me, give me my ticket
no no no no no no no musiye no no
my ticket to hollywood, no ticket to hollywood
my ticket to hollywood, no ticket to hollywood
akhiyon ke nile sheesh mehal mein
soniye ni soniye beh ja ni beh ja
do din jeena hai ik din reh ja
tere bina jeena bhi kya

yeh jiddi hai sakt hai, bada hi kabakhkht hai
yeh dil jab aa jaaye, toh jid se hatata nahi
tu raani hai france ki, main baasuri baas ki
hamaari society mein, yeh chalata nahi
no no musiye no no itana, simple nahi chal dafa ho kahi
lauta de mera ticket to hollywood
ticket to hollywood, arre ticket to hollywood lauta de
ticket to hollywood lauta, ticket to hollywood lauta
os mein bi kholi mint ki goli, meri khushbu bi ba
ganni se kaante manjhe, ki dori kaategi tu bi ba
lauta de

@sabbirsa actually fooloof is right. Just because he doesn't know what the song actually means (and just because he didn't ask) doesn't mean he's close-minded. If he's not Indian and he is willing to listen to this song, that is pretty open-minded. And how do you know he had a preconceived notion when all he said was that the track is dope? Also, what does the target audience (Indians) have to do with his comment? It's not like he said I hate this song because I don't understand it

@fooloof Actually statements like " the track is pretty dope. Is it in Hindi" are not examples of being open minded. See for example I absolutely loved one of the songs from the film Kandukondain Kandukondain (Tamil movie) which is not my mother tongue. So I asked one of the YT users who happen to speak Tamil to translate it to me so that I can better appreciate it. That is called being open minded. You came here to watch a Hindi song however you already had preconceived notion.

@fooloof And by the way I can and will comment on whatever it is that comes my way. I don't need you to tell me where I should and should not comment. Also always remember Indian movies are made exclusively for Indians and South Asians who represent the biggest market when it comes to film industry. Its not meant to entertain foreigners. So that maybe one reason you did not understand the music or the song.

the man has kinda debts, he payed them back, but before they took all of his stuff including his 'ticket to hollywood' xD , she doesn't wanna give it back cuz she likes him and wants him to stay haha.. and as you see he's begging for his ticket hahahaha xD

@fooloof i'm sorry but there is no excuse for your ignorance. I can tell when anything's in thai, mandarin, cantonese, korean, japanese, hindi, punjabi, portugese, spanish, dutch etcetcetc and i only speak 4 languages. It's general knowledge.

@fooloof Then why is there a need to watch sth you don't like. That way you will save yourself time and won't have to make fake efforts to be open minded. Lord.

@fooloof dude it's not our fault you are deprived and can't pronounce the names of movies...u should atleast be able to tell that much that it is in hindi =P

I don't even remember when I made the comment and the contents of it. Do yourself a favour and ignore me all together. thanks.

its a nice move... n nice songs too...

fooloof on Friday, January 22, 2010
@CherryGal3214 yes, it's most definitely stereotypical. my point is that you're Indian, and very few people outside of the Indian community, whether on the subcontinent or in the diaspora, know who Chopra is. So, it was silly of you to criticize me for not knowing who he is, much less the language of this song. All I did was ask an honest question because I am trying to have an open mind. You responded with unnecessary sarcasm. Sarcasm just makes people feel bad. Nothing positive about it.
