undoubtedly one of Ashaji's finest solos and certainly the best one from the Asha-OP combo!

UsherRed1 on Friday, February 06, 2009
Asha Parekh was beauty personified. There could only be two greatest women in the entire bollywood and they are undoubtedly Hema Malini and Asha Parekh. This video truly brings out the best of Asha Parekh. Her simple attire, beautiful face and graceful acting skills are all beautifully crafted into this single song. Thank you sickoatze for this upload. Your efforts are deeply appreciated :) You get all my respect.

lahore2vancouver, i totally agree with you regarding this gem of a song of our time.
O.P.Nayyar.(rip).

Young Amanat ali reminds Young A.Nayyar but at that time Internet was,nt there in 1970,s .for this reason he did not get attention in INDIA. But By saragama he got over nite Fame .That is too quick & spoiling a yng. Artist .He thinks he is the king of World .Though he has Talent & bright future but do not forget he is from Music Family .I shaal send you A.Nayyar,s "Jayae app kahan " Version at that time his throat was,t good even then he tried after 20 yrs. in 1991. hope you like it . Thanks !

Asha Bhosle and O. P. Nayyar did have relationship( were married?), i have met O. P. Nayyar personally, it was many years ago, i was young girl then, this song is one of thebest of O.P. Nayyars songs

makewell2455 on Tuesday, January 19, 2010
@ seema,,, Aasha Bhosle married with R. D. Bharaman, was also a good musician of his time

SyedZeeshanAli1 on Wednesday, March 24, 2010
beatifully sung by Asha Jee, OP NAYYAR used Asha Jee very intelligently, realising her voice perfectly for any type of songs, but gien her full chances to utilise her singing capabilities which also reflects in this song. Asha sung many beautifull songs and unforgettable songs with OP NAYYAR, these songs are true classics .

i never knew rafi had a little segment right at the beginning! though i love asha i think 30 seconds of rafi is better than 6 minutes of asha.

vaadaenmacchi on Saturday, March 27, 2010
3:50 where she sings rok legi koyi daali is my fav. part of the song.

65432106 on Tuesday, April 13, 2010
@vaadaenmacchi why making such remarks Asha is just devine though rafi is something else we should not belittle the lady she has sung some memorable songs in her time

vaadaenmacchi on Friday, May 14, 2010
@65432106 i know asha is the best but still, no one compares to rafi.

65432106 on Sunday, May 16, 2010
@vaadaenmacchi to say that Mohammad Rafi is irreplaceable would be an understatement and very few misguided people would deny he was the greatest singer the indian cinema ever had but we should also give credit where credits are due. Asha Bhosle in her days was phenomenal too although I believe she lost it a little recently in associating herself with the NEW Bollywood era.

vaadaenmacchi on Sunday, May 16, 2010
@lahore2vancouver You are probably right. There is Aao Huzoor Tumko from Kismat and Aankhon Se Jo Utri Hai from PHir Wohi Dil Laya Hoon but they are a distant 2nd and 3rd.

lahore2vancouver on Monday, May 17, 2010
@vaadaenmacchi Dear my top 2 i still have not decided Which one i should put on top one. from movie Parakh " O, Sajna " & from purnima " Kutch dill nay kaha "
What do you think !

65432106 on Tuesday, May 18, 2010
@vaadaenmacchi I believe she should have taken a leaf out of her sister's book and and let the 'new genration' get on with it but perhaps the lure of money and
?fame plays its part in all that which is a shame. She does not need it. she had already cast herself in the memories of her counless admirers. by the way I am a Rafian that can appreciate the talents of other artists from the 40's onward. If i am considered an old nostalgic fool so be it.

I consider myself lucky to be born on 8th September on the day ASHAJI the most popular singer was born ! Many thanks for uploading this beautiful video !

OP Nayyar + Asha have given us great gems and this one tops it all. Even after 45 years, this fantastic number is evergreen. Listening to it is most enjoyable any time. Serene singing matched by exquisite musical score. Wow !! Thanks for uploading this beautiful clip.

imrank340 on Wednesday, June 09, 2010
@TheSeemafaulkner I know OP Nayyar was a bit of ladies man! He preferred Married women, they were easy to take on and easy to dump off as he told me.

TYPICAL style of MAGICIAN Magic is PROMINENT and this was possible coz this composition has came from the SCHOOL of GREATEST ever O P NAYAR He was having his GENUINE style and his SIGNATURE was always there He never took LATA ji as PLAYBACK His chemistry with AASHA JI was EXQUISITE What a composition this has been for last 45 years Hats off to them 03332604292

lovely song and lovely asha parekh

RealMusicKing on Monday, December 20, 2010
Hello listeners. Back in the day, only two females were meant to be playbacked by Asha Bhonsle, Meena Kumari and Asha Parekh. If one pays carefull attention, Meena's and Asha Parekh's talking voice with slight twitch in them was perfect to be sung by Asha Bhonsle.

minafaroughi07 on Sunday, December 26, 2010

Why was such a beautiful song ( picturisation)wasted on the effeminate looking Biswajit???? It would have been more appropriate had it been sung by the heroine for someone masculine like Dharmendra-

If Lataji is the patron deity in my musical mandir, such honeyed songs by
Asha Bhonsle most certainly make her deserve a pedestal there as a beloved
"associate" deity. And in my opinion, when it comes to lending a certain
intoxicating quality to some songs when required, even Lataji has to yield
to her younger sister at times. AB is simply fabulous in that regard. Thank
you, ajayuv..
