Asha Bhonsle-O.P.Nayyar, Lata Mangeshkar-Madan Mohan and SPB-Ilayaraja (in Tamil & Telugu) are the best singer-composer combos ever IMHO!

Extraordinary composition. Its sad that OPN is no more .

radiojockeydevika on Sunday, May 01, 2011
My super fav. What to say about O.P NAYYER ji, phenomenal composer + Asha ji's magical voice.so much expressed just by beautiful lyrics...that's the power of golden era songs..unlike today's songs where on-screen actors-actresses need to show there skin (bounded with cheapness) to express..!!!!

Tandrima Chatterjee on Tuesday, September 13, 2011
@BharatGul Perfect. Agree with you full on !! Asha ji has a voice
quality envisaging the essence of something like honey mixed with wine...
And there are certain songs which ONLY ASHA JI can justify to the desired
degree. Asha ji-- U R MARVELLOUS!!! No match for you.. Tribute to you
always !!!

Bharat Gul on Tuesday, September 13, 2011
@TheRajpari Thank you. Glad to see your enthusiastic admiration for Ashaji.

Bharat Gul !!!! Dear tell me, how come you knew what I wanted to say?????

Jagjit Singh Ishar on Monday, August 27, 2012
O P Nayyar is the real mentor of Asha. It was O P who mended Asha's voice &
took her career to the Himalayan heights. Today Asha doesnt utter a single
world for O P the inhuman act. She always speaks about R D Burman &
deliberately neglects all other composers who gave asha a no of haunting
songs. She generally shows disparage to O P N. Had there been no O P Nayyar
the so called Asha would have gone in to the oblivion.

Mohit kumar on Saturday, September 08, 2012
there can not be anything more beautiful than that ♥

Mukhtar Zaidi on Sunday, December 09, 2012
If you go for Quality & Variety;than no one can reach to AASHA JEE

R Bhatia on Friday, May 17, 2013
Jagjit Jee, I am in full agreement with you. Nayyar sahib was a genius who
molded Asha and without him "..Asha would be in oblivion.." In her last
performance in New York a few years back, she sang only one OP composition,
that too after much demand from the audience. She was constantly talking
about RD who in his own right was a very good composer, yet a notch or so
below Nayyar sahib. How ungrateful can people be. IMHO Asha is decidely lot
more versatile than Lata.

I've always liked Asha Bhosle's songs more than Lata's, and this song is a
true representation as to why that is.

One of the most haunting songs of my youth..OOOOOhhhhhh Especially the
combination of the prelude instrumental and THEN- Asha's voice breaks
in...Like running away through the most flower studded field for hiding
with flowered plants and then the Sun breaks through saying Kahan Chupenge?

ritesh mallik on Sunday, February 23, 2014
impossible kind of singing,..itni choti choti jaghein le li hain asha jee
ne ke kisi ke liye bhi gana asambhav hai,..kya tune banaya hai OPN ne aur
kya nibhaya hai Asha jee nee,..

Nilesh Dani on Monday, April 07, 2014
