Lyrics of Udan Khatole Pe Ud Jaaun, Tere Hath Na Aaau -
ho o o o
ye aur guzarati jaye, lambi unchi nichi rahe
galiyan aur bazar, ha aa aa
galiyan aur bazar
mera paiya
mera paiya aise bhage, jaise motar kar
bhage sab sansar, bhage sab sansar
suraj bhage chanda bhage, andhiyara ujiyara bhage
dharati daude pichhe ko, mai age badhati jaau
tera hath pakad ke tujhako, dur kahi le jaun
mai phir bhi hath na aaun, phir bhi hath na aaun
udan khatole pe ud jaau, tere hath na aaun
ha aa aa, tere hath na aaun

Sholay48 on Tuesday, December 25, 2012 Great song composed by one of the best and true Indian musician. This is a
continuous song from beginning to end with no stanza. Its so flowing and
good to listen to. Its refreshing to the ears. Naushad was good at
composing such songs. I know of a few others. He was never shy to introduce
new singers. I think that he is the only musician who has used the most
number of new singers although few did not last long.
Shalin Bhatt on Sunday, August 26, 2012 Voice of girl: Shamshad Begum Voice of boy: Zohrabai Ambalewali Every song
from this film was a gem. My personal favorite is "Kyon Yaad Aa Rahe Hain"
by Surendra.
LifeIsaTrain on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 Answering this a few months later... The actress who played the little girl
was also named Noor Jehan! Known more commonly as Noor, she was the sister
of Shakila, and she later became Johnny Walker's wife. The actor was M.
Kabir. (I have learned this from a couple of blogs. I knew nothing about
this film as a child, because I grew up in New York City in the 1960s and
'70s. But I love old Indian films now, and this one might be my favorite. I
love Naushad, and I especially love Noor Jehan!)
Vinod Bhatia on Tuesday, February 07, 2012 The composition of this song is so fantastic that it keeps on haunting in
my mind over and over again. That has been the magic of Naushad Sahib's
music. It is just unparalell and nobody has been able to achieve that level
of music direction in Indian movies. His music has really a very high
degree of class.Every composition of his has been a masterpiece in itself.
The entire picturization of this song is so beautiful that one is
automatically drawn into that gone bye era very beautifully.
Vinod Bhatia on Tuesday, February 07, 2012 I saw 'Anmol Ghadi' at the age of six years of my age in Lahore before
1947. This song brings tears in my eyes because it brings back nostalgic
memories of Lahore so much that I still remember Lawrence Gardens,
Anarkali, Mall Road and of course Sant Nagar and Kishan Nagar to mention
some. When I had the good fortune of meeting Naushad Sahib here in USA I
told him I still remembered two of his songs. One was this song and the
other from the movie 'Ratan','Aakhiyan Mila Ke' He was amazed.
