Centuries will pass before another voice of such calibre, elocution and
style will be gifted to this planet again. No body could ever reach to
their heights. They had complete control in all sorts of variations in
singing. A naive pair, they could naturally justify the poetic lyrics and I
think the poets created these inspired by their voice as they could imagine
their creations just as the composers did, Lata & Rafi Sahib are immortal
and their art will be remembered. (3rd March 2011)

Wow ! What a wonderful song ! Prabably one of the best songs I've ever heard. The one that you would like to watch again & again and still never satisfied. Only S D Burman can produce such a masterpiece [in my opinion]. Hats off to the great music director !
And Jaya Bhaduri...what can I say ! She simply rocks.!.absolutely brilliant.! !
Anybody who hasn't seen this film yet, I strongly recommend to watch it asap. Believe me, you are in for a treat.

Lata's natural voice (e.g. when she is giving an interview) is not that high, it is about the same or sightly higher than that of a "normal" female voice. Rumour has it that she fell out with many music composers simply because they insisted that she should lower her pitch. I have rarely seen an actress "act out" the pitch of a song, nor do we seem to care.

Jaya Bhaduri's character is the heart & soul of this film and she is awesome. Her acting is so good that you can almost feel her pain. ...Absolutely Brilliant ! ! !
She is so talented & natural. It is a treat to watch her in this film. Enjoy.

Such a beautiful song ,and amazing lyrics.
How they capture the feelings of a newly wed couple, and make the listener feel the same emotions.I mean the lyrics are so much kinda mental conversation rather than verbal..if u understand
