Lyrics / Video of Song : Koyi Dil Me Hai Aur Koyi Najar Me, Kise Yaad Rakhu, Kise Bhul Jau

koyi dil me hai aur koyi hai najar me
mohabbat ke sapne, mai kispe lutau
isi kashmkash me, jeeye ja raha hu
kise yaad rakhu, kise bhul jaau
kise yaad rakhu, kise bhul jaau

udhar dil mohabbat me unko diya hai
idhar farz ka bojh, sar pe liya hai
ari zindagi tune, ye kya kiya hai
kise yaad rakhu, kise bhul jaau

na bas me hai mere, tumhe bhul jana
na bas me hai, inko najar se girana
meri bebasi ka, bas itna fasana
kise yaad rakhu, kise bhul jaau
kise yaad rakhu, kise bhul jaau

Centuries will pass before another voice of his calibre, elocution, style and expressive emphasis on the emotional aspects of the lyrics will be gifted to this planet again, he can naturally justify the poetic lyrics and I think the poets created these inspired by his voice as they could imagine his immortalising their creations just as the composers did, there is no match for this legend and he could sing anything with free spirit. How did you manage to locate such quality songs.(3rd July 2011)

This song was penned by Kaif Irfani who wrote in few films like Tarana, Sheroo, Malhar. He was a talented Urdu poet who used to work for Urdu newspaper Milap (Delhi). This composition of Mukesh is remarakable. He used to take help from Anil Biswas and Roshan. Anilda was his Guru and Roshan, a close friend from his Delhi days. Dr Surender Bhutani Warsaw (Poland)

...Na bas me' hein mere' unhe' bhuul jana; na bas me' hein inko nazar se' girana. Meri bebasi ka bachpana fasana, kise' yaad rakhhu, kise' bhuul jaun... For some reason, this beautifully sung song, so soft like a petal of flower, was gone from memory. I would have taken it for a non-filmi song, but for your caption. Thanks a bunch.

Yes! I listened to 'Satayega tu'. It is good. But my favourite from Shisham is the other Mukesh song 'mera dil leke chale'. I agree that Mukesh has many wonderful songs sung so movingly. "Aye jaan e jigar' from Aaram immediately comes to mind.Thank you ji for your suggestion. It is a great pleasure to talk about favourite songs.

Pradeep Saheb I really thank you for letting me know about the Anurag song by Lata Mangeshkar. I had been searching for this song ever since I heard the song sung by a male singer in a music party in Hyderabad years ago. I thought Mukesh had sung this beautiful song. Do you knowwho wrote the song?

One of the finest and most soulful song sung by Mukhesh bhaiyya . So simple music , has enthralled our soul and heart. Song is a mixture of fun as well as hurt feeling of a lover entangled in dual mind. Bhaiyya , every time I listen this flood flows out of my eyes. Bhargavaram
