Lyrics of Khudaa Hamako Aisi Khudaai Naa De Jagjit Gazal - खुदा हमको ऐसी खुदाई ना दे
khuda humko aisi khudaai na de
khuda humko aisi khudaai na de
ki apne siva kuch dikhai na de
khuda humko aisi khudaai na de
khata baar samjhegi duniya tujhe
khata baar samjhegi duniya tujhe
ab itni jada safaai na de
khuda humko aisi khudaai na de
khuda humko aisi khudaai na de
haso aaj itna ki is shor me
haso aaj itna ki is shor me
sada siskiyon ki sunai na de
khuda humko aisi khudaai na de
khuda humko aisi khudaai na de
abhi to badan me lahu hai bahut
abhi to badan me lahu hai bahut
kalam chhin le roshnai na de
khuda humko aisi khudaai na de
khuda humko aisi khudaai na de
khuda aise ehasaas ka naam hai
khuda aise ehasaas ka naam hai
rahe samne aur dikhaai na de
khuda humko aisi khudaai na de
ki apne siva kuch dikhai na de
khuda humko aisi khudaai na de
Poetic Translation - Lyrics of Khudaa Hamako Aisi Khudaai Naa De Jagjit Gazal
Grant us, God, a kingdom less than this,
Grant us, God, a kingdom less than this,
That leaves us nothing but ourselves to kiss.
Grant us, God, a kingdom less than this.
The world will mark you with a fault, a stain,
The world will mark you with a fault, a stain,
Don't offer too much explanation, pain.
Grant us, God, a kingdom less than this.
Grant us, God, a kingdom less than this.
Laugh now, so loud, within this crowded space,
Laugh now, so loud, within this crowded space,
That sighs of sorrow find no resting place.
Grant us, God, a kingdom less than this.
Grant us, God, a kingdom less than this.
The blood still pulses strong within our frame,
The blood still pulses strong within our frame,
Take the pen, but leave the light, the flame.
Grant us, God, a kingdom less than this.
Grant us, God, a kingdom less than this.
For God is but a feeling, softly near,
For God is but a feeling, softly near,
Present always, yet never wholly clear.
Grant us, God, a kingdom less than this,
That leaves us nothing but ourselves to kiss.
Grant us, God, a kingdom less than this.

Shankar Ganapathy on Tuesday, August 06, 2013 was the one who wrote this a believer or a non-believer? Was HE a human
being? NO CHANCE. This was the CREATOR telling us all not to wear our
faith on our shoulders, just confine it to your actions, actions which
translates to LOVE, CARING, HOPE, OPTIMISM, and all other adjectives to
make this a world a better PLACE to LIVE IN..THE MEEK will definitely
INHERIT this EARTH as long as such song writers and song lovers are
there...KHUDA is EHSAS...

Miriam Maina on Sunday, May 12, 2013 Indeed this is an enlightening/soothing ghazal, more surprising is that a
person from different background can grasp its depth and appreciate it..me
living in the vast west and thankfully raking its benefits still search to
fill that cultural gap...only if the most intelligent and accomplished
population such as this could be exposed to mirza ghalibs words...
