This song has the power to swell tons of emotion and nostalgia, joy and
sorrow, amongst thousands of people of our generation (born in 1968)! Many
think the song is sung by Lata Mangeshkar... evoke strong memories of
childhood listening to such beautiful songs on the radio.. That is all we
had as entertainment, but it was great, I would never exchange that
childhood for one of today.

That was just my opinion. My personal ranking of singers that I shared with people here. It's not written in stone or anything. :) Regarding Kavita ji, I think she's a great singer, but way too nasalized. Asha ji is great too. But not as good as her older sister. But then, that's just my opinion. :)

Sachin and Ranjeeta Kaur may not be popular by Bollywood standards, but this movie really delivers great songs, thanks to the melodious voice of Hemlata. I feel so at ease when I watch this video and listen to the sweet voices of both Hemlata and Shailendra. Great music from Ravindra Jain.

Melodius composition of Ravindra Jain, sung so beautifully by Hemlata and
Shailendra Singh. I love Shailendra Singh's voice. He certainly deserves
much more from hindi film industry.
