BharatGul on Thursday, February 02, 2012 Such a heartwarming song. One vaguely recalls similar folk songs from real-life northern Indian culture celebrating the birth of a child. In every respect, Godaan the novel and Godaan the film gave as authentic a view of the tragedies and occasional joys of our rural folks as any artistic creation can. Raaj Kumar even looked like a farmer of sturdy jaat stock. Thanks, COS.
