Lyrics of Jai Ho Jai Ho Aaja Aaja Jind Shaamiyaane Ke Tale - जय हो जय हो आजा आजा जींद शामियाने के तले

jai ho, jai ho, jai ho, jai ho, jai ho
aaja aaja jind shamiyaane ke tale
aaja jaree waale nile aasmaan ke tale
jai ho, jai ho
aaja aaja jind shamiyaane ke tale
aaja jaree waale nile aasmaan ke tale
jai ho, jai ho
jai ho, jai ho, jai ho, jai ho

ratti ratti sachchi maine jaan gavaayi hai
nach nach koyalo pe raat bitaayi hai
ankhiyo kee nind maine phunko se uda di
gin gin taare maine ungali jalaayi hai
eh aaja aaja jind shamiyaane ke tale
aaja jaree waale nile aasmaan ke tale
jai ho, jai ho, jai ho, jai ho

chakh le, ho chakh le, yeh raat shehad hai
chakh le, rakh le
ha dil hai, dil aakhari had hai, rakh le
kaala kaala kaajal tera, koyi kaala jaadu hai na
kaala kaala kaajal tera, koyi kaala jaadu hai na
aaja aaja jind shamiyaane ke tale
aaja jaree waale nile aasmaan ke tale
jai ho, jai ho

jai ho, jai ho, jai ho, jai ho
jai ho, jai ho, jai ho, jai ho
jai ho, jai ho, jai ho, jai ho

@Phangirl101 i appreciate yr comments about outsiders representing
inaccurately. but i'm really curious what is inaccurate. i.e. i think would
be nice if we could learn from a major motion picture how large
corporations--mostly american-based--have been stealing traditional
farmers' ancestral lands & destroying communities, families, & the
environment. & i actually really would like to see more movies about
poverty, traffickers, and slums in my country (the u.s.), if they are
accurate.

not to say slumdog millionaire is an accurate portrayal, but i don't see it
as making india look bad. while there are some easy stereotypes as an
alternative to character development, and shallow people will make comments
like "wow india looks so scary" without looking at similar portrayals in
movies about the u.s., for example, or in life around them. anyway i think
many of the characters are beautifully human, and represent. for children
in poverty, for gangsters, and for friends.

I am Chinese and I don't even know a single word of this song. But everytime i feel tired or frustrated, I come to here and listen to this song. I feel I am motivated by the melody constantly. For those people who are struggling with their painful lives: Guys, nothing easy in this mad world. Don't you dare give up yourself. Whatever the things you're doing right now, just keep it up. BUDDHA BLESS YOU ALL. BUDDHA BLESS INDIA. plz thumbs me up, so this comment could be more helpful.

It's sad when the end credits are better than the whole movie. I am huge fan of Danny Boyle, and I couldn't believe how mediocre this film turned out. I couldn't believe how rushed the third act was. It was like "ok the evil character who deserves a punishment worse then death magically sees the light and wants to do good." The two leads had no chemistry and the romance was forced. It is also sad that this film was nominated over The Wrestler and The Dark Knight.

@Phangirl101 she (I am assuming here) is DEFINITELY right, modern Indian
culture is actually more advanced then they portrayed here, what do you
expect from a foreigner( canadian) makign a movie about indian culture -_-
although a good portion of this story is also true. Jai Hind
