TheForsan1 on Saturday, July 12, 2014 When AR Rahman sing in a language, regardless of the state, country or
continent you feel he is belongs to you! This is the beauty of this simple
man packed with tremendous talent! He is an Indian, be proud to be an
Indian! Don't fight over the language you speak, it is only to communicate
each other, Music communicate emotionally and enter straight into your
heart without even asking your permission! I didn't get single word he sang
in this superb number, still I found myself playing this over and over
again!
Pradvay S on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 Brilliant. i love this comment. really well said Sumit. LEARN people...
learn. I was there . 4-5 days?? hahaha he learnt it in ONE day. thats it.
appreciate, enjoy, you have something intellectual that you can point out,
maybe about the music?? chord progression perhaps?? pls do. not about his
language. -_- remember, before we hail from a state and before we hail from
a country, we hail from this planet, we are all connected NOT by languages,
but by our actions. so stop complaining and enjoy!^_^
Dibyadyuti Basu on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 I feel really ashamed of fellow Bengalis who are abusing this page by
criticizing Rahman's diction, pronunciation, etc. and his supposed
blasphemy of touching the respectably untouchable Tagore. We have deified
Tagore such that if someone tries to re-invent Him, people will criticize.
Tagore always dreamt of a great unified India & look at his successors who
complain abt mispronunciation of his poem which talks about breaking down
boundaries of countries. What an irony! Jagao mere desh, alas...
Ishan Mishra on Sunday, August 25, 2013 Where The Mind Is Without Fear Where the mind is without fear and the head
is held high Where knowledge is free Where the world has not been broken up
into fragments By narrow domestic walls Where words come out from the depth
of truth Where tireless striving stretches its arms towards perfection
Where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way Into the dreary
desert sand of dead habit Where the mind is led forward by thee Into
ever-widening thought and action Into that heaven of freedom;
loafungusOM on Thursday, October 31, 2013 There's nothing in any religion that says you should conquer or rule
anyone. It's purely human ambition and/or greed that makes a person/nation
conquer or rule another. You shouldn't judge people for having or lacking
courage because of something your/their ancestors did or didn't do. If
Islam is spreading so quickly today, it's ONLY because people are willingly
recognizing that it is the Truth. This endless unglipointing has to stop.
Just love each other for who we are NOW. Only God can judge.
