Lyrics / Video of Song : Hamne Jafaa Na Sikhi, Unko Vafa Na Aai, Pathar Se Dil Lagaya, Aur Dil Pe Chot Khai
hamane jafaa na sikhi, unako vafaa na aai
patthar se dil lagaayaa, aur dil ne chot khaai
apane hi dil ke haatho, barabaad ho gae ham
kisase kare shikaayat, ab kisako de duhaai
duniyaa banaane vaale, mai tujhase puchhataa hun
kyaa pyaar kaa jahaan me, badalaa hai bevafaai

orientlover1 on Monday, July 11, 2011 I have a August 1999 magazine containing a photo of Rajendra Kumar being cremated. It is really unbelievable to see a one time master artist lying lifeless and about to be consigned to flames. Very heart breaking.
kuckudk on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 What a beautiful song. Ham ne jafa na seekhi unko wafa na aai The old songs
carried loads of feelings with them, such touching songs are very rarely
written now. Thank you Majid for uploading this gem.
Gasper Agacy on Monday, December 19, 2011 @dravpathak sher accha hai lekin poora bolte. ya yeh kehte " Najaane kyon
ummeedwaar baitha hoon main; us raah pe jo rehguzar nahi teri"
OGOLDful on Monday, July 30, 2012 A subtle self-pity with poise….an in tuned expression of performance,
prose and the melody…an ageless citation!!!
Mrpkv1006 .pkv on Sunday, August 15, 2010 sonny you ar spot on. Its SJ_RAFi combo indeed made in heaven. We are
blessed to live in this earth to hear them
Naaz Jiwa on Monday, February 04, 2013 Yes now Mika Singh rules, screaming his lungs out. If the singer most of
them besura's-don't scream then it is NOT a song. This is true melody,
beautiful lyrics, beautiful rendition.Flawless.Indian cinema and the
singing fraternity have become fake and matlabi.Like Sharmila Tagore said,
the "innocence" has gone out of cinema, gone are the days when Amar Prem,
Anupama, Aradhana, Kati Patang were storylines that people wanted. Now, it
is choreography - every song is the same with no staying power.
bipin kale on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 I am very heartfelt after reading comments of mallusite that there are
20000 hits for this song and I recollected that it was the first movie i
have seen after I started seeing movies in 1962 when i was 10 years old
this the magic of old songs and contribution of Rafi and Shanker Jaikishan
luminous787 on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 In those days feelings were given more importance. Now family values,
feelings, concern for others, respect etc have disappeared and that shows
in the movies and unfortuntely trickles down into people's minds and
behaviors. Today's cinemais about vulgarity, violence and no virtue.
otsirk17 on Thursday, March 28, 2013 Typical of SJ. Hundreds of violins with the piano strokes prelude until
00:45 and from 01:00 to 01:15. From 00:19 to 00:35 the changeover from
violin to sarangi ( I don't know what that instrument is ) is so seamless.
Rafi's rendering of the song is incredible. Thanks.
dravpathak on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 Hasarat Jaipuri sahib and Rafi..tuned to SJ :) Let me add a line in the
same tune.. Pathara gai hain aankhein,is Shab e muntazar mein; ab kya
kareinge aakar wo mere janaazai!!
