Lyrics of Ek Raja Ki Sun Lo Kahani - एक राजा की सुन लो कहानी

ek raja ki sun lo kahani ek raja ki sun lo kahani
kahi hathi na ghode na sena koi
na kahi thi koi rajdhani
ek raja ki sun lo kahani ek raja ki sun lo kahani

teen bete the aankho ke tare
bade pyare pyare dilo ke sahare
vo the raja ke anmol moti
nigaho ki jyoti the maa ke dulare
palko ki chav me guzra tha bachpan
masti me doobi jawani
ek raja ki sun lo kahani ek raja ki sun lo kahani

ek aisa agar din bhi aaya jisne raja ko nirdhan banaya
ho gaye khali sare khajane haye kaisa ye andher chaya
vo jo bete the aankho ke tare raja rani ke dil sahare
kaam aise me vo bhi naa aaye
chupte firte the aankhe churaye

aaram ke sathi kya kya the jab vaqt padha to koi nahi
dhan daulat ke sab rishte hai dhan ruth gaya to koi nahi
kon girte ko deta sahara vo raja bechara thaka aur hara
sochta tha kaha hai vo moti
vo aankho ki jyoti bane jo sahara
raja to chup chap pita tha aansu
chup chup ke roti thi rani
ek raja ki sun lo kahani ek raja ki sun lo kahani

ho gaya apna khoon paraya ho gaya apna khoon paraya
kaam magar ek chaakar aaya ek bhola insan vaha tha
bachpan se mehman vaha tha usne jiske tukde khaye
sada usi ke panv dabaye un bedardo ki mehfil me
ek vahi hamdard bacha tha lekin malik ko kya deta
bechare ke paas hi kya tha

apne malik ke kadmo me ro ro ke
khush hota charan uske dho dho ke
apna tan man nayochavar vo karta raha
ek ishare pe malik ke marta raha
hai kahani magar baat kal hi ki hai
na samjhna ise tum purani
ek raja ki sun lo kahani ek raja ki sun lo kahani

lyrics of song Ek Raja Ki Sun Lo Kahani

Poetic Translation - Lyrics of Ek Raja Ki Sun Lo Kahani
Listen now, the king's tale unfolds,
A kingdom vast, yet no army it holds.
No steeds, no elephants, no banners unfurled,
No city walls, in this singular world.
Listen now, the king's tale unfurls.

Three sons he had, stars in his sight,
Precious gems, burning ever so bright.
Treasures they were, of immeasurable worth,
Light of his eyes, dearest on earth.
Childhood bloomed in a sheltered embrace,
Youthful joy, in that sacred place.
Listen now, the king's tale unfurls.

Then came a day, a cruel twist of fate,
When the king's wealth began to abate.
Empty coffers, a shadow so deep,
A darkness fell, secrets to keep.
Those sons, his pride, his comfort, his guide,
Failed him then, nowhere to confide.
Hiding their faces, shame in their eyes.

Friends of ease, vanished in the hour of need,
Wealth's false ties, a treacherous creed.
When riches depart, where do the loyal reside?
The fallen king, alone he did confide.
Where are the gems, the stars of his crown?
The solace that once did abound?
The king, in silence, his sorrow did weep,
The queen's tears flowed, secrets to keep.
Listen now, the king's tale unfurls.

His own blood turned estranged and cold,
But one soul remained, a story to be told.
A humble servant, steadfast and true,
Since childhood a guest, loyalty he knew.
The bread he had eaten, the feet he did serve,
In that heartless court, his devotion did preserve.
Though he had nothing, his spirit was free,
The only companion, for the king to see.

At the king's feet, his tears did pour,
Washing them clean, forevermore.
His body, his soul, offered with grace,
Ready to die at the master's pace.
This tale is recent, of yesterday's plight,
Don't think of it as a faded light.
Listen now, the king's tale unfurls.
