I would salute to Hemant Kumar´s courageous step to enter into singing
arena. He knew exactly that his voice is just as normal as one can imagine.
What persuaded him to proceed because of his bank with full of
compositions. And so much so, Lata Mangeshkar, an authority and stablished
singer at that time could not refuse him. What a legend? He has scored
beautiful duets with this nightingale. This particular song is one of them.

This song is so beautiful & so sweet. Lata's voice is like a young damsel's
which matches Shyamaa (who is quite a beautiful, natural & talented being).
What a sumptuous treat to the ears & eyes. I simply love this song, even
though it belongs to the time of my parents teen years. It is a ForEver
Sweetheart Song :) Sigh !!! I can keep listening.

This song arouses those repressed feelings of falling in love, going
somewhere in an isolated corner of the civilization, hold her hand, talk of
sweet , enjoy the sounds of silence, and just enjoy being in her graceful
