Lyrics of Bekhabar Jag Zara (Part - Ii) - बेखबर जाग ज़रा

bekhabar jaag zaraa bekhabar jaag zaraa
bekhabar jaag zaraa bekhabar jaag zaraa
kiski aulaad hai tu itni khabar hai ke nahi
aaj bhi qadmon mein tere ye jhuki jaaye zameen
kyunke ye teri hai har zarraa hai iskaa teraa
bekhabar jaag zaraa bekhabar jaag zaraa

bulbule aaj bhi baago mein yahi gaati hai
haye kya shaan thi nawaabo ki duhraati hai
sun ke jo phool khila jhoom ke ye kahne laga
bekhabar jaag zaraa bekhabar jaag zaraa
jang mein mirzaa qalandar ali khan kaa jaanaa
qahar barsaanaa thaa dushman pe qayaamat dhana
haaye wo josh nawabo ki rago mein naa rahaa
bekhabar jaag zaraa bekhabar jaag zaraa

raajpooto ki shujaat ki kahani sun le
kaun thhey tere bade meri zabaani sun le
unki aulaad se mujh ko hai bas itnaa shiqwa
bekhabar jaag zaraa bekhabar jaag zaraa
kaun rajpoot kaa jaayaa kabhi madhosh huaa
jaag o oonnche nishaan waale tu behosh huaa
ud gayi sone ki chidiyaa rahaa khaali pinjraa
bekhabar jaag zaraa bekhabar jaag zaraa

phoot aapas mein padi ghar tera barbaad huaa
teri barbaadi pe dushman tera aabaad huaa
hosh kar ab to gale bhaai ke bhaai lag jaa
bekhabar jaag zaraa bekhabar jaag zaraa
mujhe din raat lagi tere jagaane ki hai dhun
maadar-e-hind ke laadon pale kuchh meri bhi sun
tez-raftaar zamaane se qadam uthh ke milaa
bekhabar jaag zaraa bekhabar jaag zaraa
aaj har mulk ke soye huye bedaar huye
tifl jo ghutnon ke bal chalte thhey hushiyaar huye
magar o neend ke matawaale tu soyaa hi rahaa
bekhabar jaag zaraa bekhabar jaag zaraa

Poetic Translation - Lyrics of Bekhabar Jag Zara (Part - Ii)
Awake, unaware, awaken now, arise,
Awake, unaware, before the dawning skies.
Do you know whose child you are, the lineage you hold?
Even now, at your feet, the earth can still unfold.
For this is yours, each speck, each grain, it's all your own.
Awake, unaware, and rise, be no longer prone.

The nightingales in gardens still their songs intone,
Of the glory and the grandeur, of a royalty now flown.
The blooming flower, swaying, murmurs as it sighs,
Awake, unaware, before the dawning skies.
The fall of Mirza Qalandar Ali Khan in battle's fray,
A storm of wrath unleashed, a fearsome, fateful day.
That fire, that passion, in the noble veins, is gone,
Awake, unaware, and rise, before the break of dawn.

Listen to the Rajput's valor, the tales they left behind,
Hear of your ancestors, their deeds of every kind.
Of their offspring, only this I ask with heavy heart,
Awake, unaware, and play your destined part.
Who of Rajput blood ever fell in drunken sleep?
Awake, high standard-bearer, from slumber's ocean deep.
The golden bird has flown, leaving an empty cage,
Awake, unaware, and turn a new, awakened page.

Division's poison wrought, your home began to fall,
Your ruin brought your enemy to stand up tall.
Come to your senses now, embrace your brother near,
Awake, unaware, dispel all lingering fear.
My constant yearning is to rouse you from your sleep,
Oh, child of Mother India, my plea, my promise keep.
Match your pace with time's swift river, flow with its command,
Awake, unaware, and rise to take your stand.
Now, all the sleeping nations find their waking hour,
Children who once crawled now rise with newfound power.
But, you, enthralled by slumber, still remain asleep,
Awake, unaware, from depths of slumber, leap!
