R D Burman sang a duet with Rafi (for SHAAN)just a couple of days before
Rafi died .He used the song despite it being a rough recording.Not bad for
a person who rejuvenated Kishore in the 70s but still had a soft spot for
this special human being.(modernizing the music industry only resulted in
short term gains and later he had to realise the value of the real pearl.)R
D Burman and Rafi combined in many movies like 'Teesri Manzil ,Pyar ka
Mausam ,Abhilasha,Yadon ki Baraat etc.

its a grt achievement of Kishore bcoz singers were judged on the basis that
how r they singing Kishore kumar songs.

@shankarnarainswami Disagree as well..all the duets kishore and rafi sung
together they complemented each other...they had been eqully taltened..both
of them are gr8..unfortunately kishore's rise after "aradhana" saw the
decline of Rafi
