If you ask a singer who masks better..
he would definately point to rafi saheb..
You cannot match the caliber of rafi saheb..
manhar sings well but if you consider caliber
its Rafi saheb..

Sanjay Pawde on Friday, November 07, 2008
Wonderful song from " Aap To Aise Na The" ! Manohar Udhas has sung it to
his best !

sherwoodmg1 on Saturday, November 15, 2008
My Dad's favourite song! He is late now but each time i hear this song it triggers off memories of my time with him as a child. I can't help but tear when i hear this song. Thank you for psiting this song!

kapilkhatiwada on Monday, November 17, 2008
sorry friend for the sudden diminishing of your father but what you say is true, it also takes me back to my early childhood.

Desi Munda on Sunday, November 30, 2008
Muhammad Rafi' version is quite melodious, touchy and attractive.Udhas'voice
seems to be close to Makesh in this song.

ranabhola on Sunday, December 07, 2008
I personally like girls in salwar kameez walking with their love hand in
hand in a park rather than in a bikini coming in and out of the ocean.

SHAILUtheINDRA on Friday, December 19, 2008
Though I am a great fan of Mohd. Rafi, I must admit (IMHO) this song is
better heard when sung by Manhar Udhas. He has done an awesome job. Simply
superb. Keeps reverberating long after you have listened to it.

pavanjiya on Sunday, December 21, 2008
Lets not forgey Mr. Nida Fazli- The lyricist of this song who has thot of such amazing words that let us down the memory lane ...Pavan

foolwise99 on Saturday, December 27, 2008
Great, Manharji has sung many songs, this is one of his best, and also this time he was at peak- of course, the music and lyrics are also great.

TheUnjustMedia on Saturday, January 03, 2009
Thats because Rafi saabs version is sung in a party with very upbeat instruments... Rafi saab is a much better singer than Manhar.. their careers are witness of that ;-)
Rafi saab kept singing till his dying day, and where exactly is manhar these days??? LOL

TheUnjustMedia on Sunday, January 04, 2009
I still think Rafi wins hands down.. anyday

kplsharma on Saturday, January 24, 2009
What i should say about this song... Simply Superb . don't know what thing makes them (old song) so fresh :)

Cheers ...

ranabhola on Saturday, January 24, 2009
i choke, i get teary every time i hear this song.

Mathew Joseph on Friday, February 06, 2009
fantastic song

5thquad on Sunday, February 08, 2009
I agree with you on that. I don't want to criticize either artist, but the
fact Rafi's version is set in party kind of takes away from the depth of
the song. The instruments and the dance etc are much more in the foreground
than in Manhar's version. I like Manhar's version better, but who knows how
it would've worked out had they sung each other's version. Maybe they did
try it and it didn't work.

5thquad on Sunday, February 08, 2009
In your opinion. Many others prefer the slower version as you can see by
the posts here.

5thquad on Sunday, February 08, 2009
Why is the carrying a boombox? Maybe he wanted to add a little reggae beats
lol...j/k

VINCENTROAD on Monday, February 09, 2009
yeah it was only an opinion, i did say excellent song!! dont know why i got 2 thumbs down lol

Paromita Bose on Monday, February 09, 2009
I TOTALLY AGREE WITH U...Manhar's version is much better! The other version
does not have the pain, the depth in it.

rakkmishra on Tuesday, February 24, 2009
Could be ...
But you yourself can see that Manhar's vesion has better commercial value. And at some point of time we have to toe economics :)

For me, Rafi is the greatest singer ever.

rakkmishra on Tuesday, February 24, 2009
Sometimes I feel, Manhar had potential to fill the void created after demise of Mukesh Jee.

Mudassar Majeed on Wednesday, March 04, 2009
This song in M. Rafi's voice is fabulous..!!!!

dpwifs on Thursday, March 12, 2009
nice collection, can you please playlist of all songs

shahbibi on Sunday, March 15, 2009
Much more romantic version than Rafi. Love the slow tempo. Perfect for these lyrics.

xcoyp on Sunday, March 15, 2009
I agree that although the song in this voice is very good too, Mohammad rafi siging at this tempo would have taken this to new heighst altogether. His part version is good but the essene of romance is then taken away

tuffleo5 on Tuesday, March 17, 2009
Hi Cutegopal this song is as cute as you are - Thanks for the upload - I
agree that the tempo of this song is better than of Mohd. Rafi and suite
Raj Babbar

anusha30 on Tuesday, March 31, 2009
I think the whole point is that this song in the slower tempo gives a more
Ghazal feel, more romantic as the situation is.. comparing the two versions
does not make too much sense..with all due respects to Manhar ji, who sang
this amazingly, i wish Rafi saab also sang the slower version... Btw, it is
not easy life for singers to meet the high standards of Rafi sahib..He is
the Legend, King, One and Only! Considering that, Manhar ji did a great job
with this song...

Rafisaabsfan on Tuesday, March 31, 2009
well duh!! Rafi saab was given the fast version, if he had sung this slow version then you would see how a slow romantic song shud be sung!!
Rafi saab would've taken the slow version to a whole new level, a level no one can reach!!

Rafisaabsfan on Tuesday, March 31, 2009
anushq hi, i kinda agree with you , no one comes close to Rafi saab n thts y , even though he sung the fast version, it was much more of a hit thn the slow one!
considering this fact, manhar sung this quite ok, but if it ws Rafi saab singing this version, the song would've been a mega hit, as it is , hardly anyone remembers this song!
thnks bye!

Ajnabhi21 on Saturday, April 04, 2009
Yeah definately Rafi Saab would have taken the song to another level, a level no one could have reached, Rafi Saab was the best, is the best and will forever be the best! :-) No one can beat him...ever!!!!

GHAKHAR WAJID HAZARVI on Saturday, April 04, 2009
One of the most beautiful song ever

rohitktmdude on Tuesday, April 07, 2009
even im a huge fan of rafi sahab, but its completely incorrect to compare
two singers, they both were good in their own right. i think manhar has
done compelete justice to this song... cuz song is never complete without
good lyrics & without any involvement of heart.

ashimapompi on Thursday, April 09, 2009
meaningful lyrics . simple music. love the song

m2sbsahib on Thursday, April 09, 2009
Rafi saab was great but don't the credit from this singer either - I thing
he did pretty darn good.

Rafisaabsfan on Thursday, April 09, 2009
thts ur personal opinion, i dnt hav to agree , just as u dnt have to agree with me, its called 'freedom of choice',

gauri1971 on Friday, April 24, 2009

..so True.. ! such a great song !

Sanjay Patange on Friday, May 01, 2009
I love Rafi, Kishor, Mukesh , mannade, Mahendra kapoor and all. But this
song is better with manhar than Rafi

Sanjay Patange on Friday, May 01, 2009
Did this song not be sung by two other singers as well and for this
perticular song Manhar is better

wwinds on Thursday, May 07, 2009
..such a nice song with full meaning of love ! ..making my life in Germany
with my German Girl !

lalam1354 on Friday, May 08, 2009
just listen this song in muhammad rafi voice and you will come to the spell bound impact.

Cyrus Syed on Saturday, May 09, 2009
Manhar sung this much better hands down. Rafi's version is also very
excellent but Manhar takes the cake on this one

lalam1354 on Sunday, May 10, 2009
It all depends on your taste, for me this song is so different in its pace that is very rare and to sing it with unbreakable breath is just amazing, please try to sing this with muhammad rafi and you will accept the truth .the melody goes beautifully with the fast pace of M rafi voice and you feel it different to other songs.weather in Manahar it is something predictable and slow easy to sing something you can expect from that type of singing and predictable tone.

baburama123 on Sunday, May 10, 2009
I am fed listening to the endless debate about who is best Manhar Udas,Rafi, Kishore, Mukesh etc. Don't make this a religious things. These guys are just talented. Talent goes beyond all religious bound.
Just grow up.

danrazkhan on Monday, May 11, 2009
no one is superior to the other. all of the singers are great. a person who loves music will never dis-regard any of the singers.

Lucky K on Saturday, May 23, 2009
its not about the religion ok. but i heard md rafi and he is better then
manhar udhas in this song im sorry if ive hurt any one here

namook1965 on Monday, May 25, 2009
