I still remember being blown away by this song the first time I saw it. I
bought Ustadon ke Ustad for Johnny Walker and the qawwali and to find this
sublime masterpiece was a stunning surprise. Simply, unquestionably, one of
the most beautiful songs ever. Rafi at his best.

the song, music & the Voice of the legend made me wept in tears. i never
had any girl friend but still the song made me feel that how love pains.
the lyrics are written with gold. i wonder how the poets dive in to the
ocean of thinking and find such wonderful pearls which is penned for the
legend Mohd. Rafi. he will remain the god of Singing. An institution of
music himself. just awesome lyrics and beautifully sung. every cell of the
body is ignited to hear his voice. Collateral impact

Rafi,Kishore,Mukesh and now Mahendar kapoor,We lost them. The void left by
them will never be filled.

Ajay on Sunday, August 28, 2011
The Music Director Ravi had the nickname "ektara Ravi". He generally used
just a single prominent instrument in most of the songs. Great song
nevertheless.
