Why is it all about marriage in so many Bollywoodmovies???? Life does not
exist of marriage and bearing children! Those Indians have no better things
to do, apparently! Don't stay old-fashioned. Try other things than getting
married, for example: study, travel, make friends with people of other
cultures in order to enrich your narrow minds, that is much more important
in life than weddings!!!!!!

xbeautifulxsuicide on Friday, June 20, 2008
It's not for such modern people as ourselves. But you have to realize some
countries aren't like countries like US or UK. :P Plus, Bollywood movies
are set in older times not exactly modern. And most ancient cultures all
people were concerned with marriage and children and such. :)

stophuntingwomen on Saturday, June 21, 2008
Excuse me, my background is this culture. I know what I am talking about.
And for your information: only a few Bollywood movies are about older
times. For instance: 'Saajan ke Ghar'is about modern times(!), and many
others also. You clearly don't know what this movie is about.

energybunny17 on Saturday, June 21, 2008
Movies often reflect society right? There are areas in India that still
feel that marriage is absolutely needed for a good, complete life. Its easy
for people from modern areas and open-minded families to say that marriage
isn't needed but if you're from a less liberal background could you imagine
going against centuries of tradition? This movie is trying to address
problems like that, especailly matters like marriage and dowry.

Jenafer Rego on Tuesday, June 24, 2008
hey the dancer is sonali bendre

stophuntingwomen on Thursday, June 26, 2008
I know. I am trying to get attention for this problem. Watch my video!

stophuntingwomen on Thursday, June 26, 2008
I know what you mean, Sandafluffoid. This particular movie is critical
about a certain wedding-tradition. I saw the movie. For this reason I
placed my comment, which is also critical (!). I am trying to get attention
for this problem. Watch my clip. You can comment there if you want.
Greetings, Charlene

lovely song cant stop listening to it :)

stophuntingwomen on Wednesday, July 02, 2008
Just because marriage is part of a tradition doesn't mean that it's wright
to force marriage upon girls/women against their will. My comment wasn't
abt. kids without fathers but abt. forced marriages. That is a totally
different subject. Wake up!!

SuperModelVogue on Thursday, July 03, 2008
Actually, forced marriages aren't that common anymore - atleast in Indian
culture. Maybe back in the 50's or whatever but I guess that IS the way
England/America see EVERY other country - centuries behind. Tbh, it all
needs a new name now because both parties actually have a choice. No one I
know has ever been forced into a marriage, it's like, idk, your parents
introducing you to someone then, after answering yes when they ask if you
liked them, getting incredibly excited.
