It basically stands for NEST but in poetry it is used for HOME.

 10ZeeKay on Sunday, November 28, 2010
Nasheman basically stands for NEST but in poetry it is used for HOME. SHAAKH-e-NASHEMAN means foundation on which a home is built.

kirmani on Monday, January 31, 2011
@imrantlg, to my ears it sounds like gulcheen which is a word and makes
perfect sense in this scenario, unless you have a reference to the poet's
book? I am happy with my understanding. If if it sounds gulshan to you, I
 don't mind either :)

@mjainktc SirG, they are not living together anymore, and to me personally
I feel when they both sing together, they are unparallel, beyond reach. Did
you know she is Bengali and he is Punjabi, and what a scene was created
when they got married. Anyways, i grew up listening to them and whenever I
feel I need to be myself, I listen to their old numbers. For sure they are
not together , he tourned vancouver about couple of years ago and was with
a lady who everybody thinks is her new muse.
