Great composer SD and sweet voice of Lata.awesome dance by
vaijayantimala.mark it a dance sequesnce is clearly shooted in a single
shot and it is very lenghthy...she managed to maintain consistency and
expressions in such a long sequence and even she has to move from one place
to another with camera...excellent

heaven. Beautiful, beautiful song.

Aravind Ruthvik on Friday, July 24, 2009

stand up and clapped for her dancing.

I am very proud of Indian Movie Industry. It keeps up with technology. Every year there are some very good movies in which this art is taken to great heights with stories, music, acting and beautiful scenes. I hope this continues and the industry flourishes.

@testTheAccount it cant have been. at 7.11 shes at the back of the dancers
and then at 7.20 shes in the middle. the director will have to have called
'cut' at some point to get the dancers in position. besides, with so many
camera angles, its a miracle that non of the other camera crews got caught
in another frame. sorry, but it can't have been filmed in one take.

The people r suppose to be wearing sikkimis dress ... but looks nothing
like it . its a cross between monks ritual clothes n lay mens .. what a
shame .. such a beautiful song wasted on bad depiction of the Sikkimis

She is just gorgeous!!

Whoever is poissondelamer, you need to read and NOT be SWAYED by your bias, Lata sings 98% of her songs in HINDI! When the muslin invaders came to aryavarta they copied the hindi language so that they can "try" to live a peaceful life! But do not take my word for it look deepl in the Vedic Culture and you will know this. Read Sanskrit and you will understand, see who Panani was and you will and Aryabhat and you wil learn something or two

So this was how Indian films looked like on the year I was born. I wonder
how many days it took to shoot this big sing & dance production number? The
singer / actress / dancer is probably the Indian version of Elizabeth
Taylor. She also looks like an actress in the Philippines: Amalia Fuentes.

Cesar Mananes on Wednesday, December 07, 2011
@imali2k I agree. I saw a lot of continuity errors. But for a 60's film,
it's probably the best that they can do. I wonder who was the editor? He
should have been paid well as he did a lot of editing!

Cesar Mananes on Wednesday, December 07, 2011
@testTheAccount I have to disagree with you on this one. There was a lot of
cut-to-cut editing. At times you can see the arms of the girl changes
position from one cut to the next. If it was shot in a single sequence, the
girl should be dripping in sweat at the end of the song.

Aravind Ruthvik on Thursday, December 08, 2011
@5thChestnut Single shot means - not the whole song I meant. Sorry for
confusion. The whole song sequence in multiple shots! Every shot was a
single take! Couple of days ago also Vaijayanthimala mentioned about this
song. She said that everything was single take as Dev saab never liked
retakes. Sorry again for confusion!

RIP DEVANAND you are the unforgettable jewel of india..

tellthetale on Monday, January 23, 2012
I dont think the entire video was filmed in one shot. There are certain segments which were done in one take, but definitely not the entire song. Her physical placement in various shots is proof of this.

Is this Video available in HD Quality and 5.1 audio?
