Lyrics of Tum Juda Hokar - तुम जुदा होकर हमें कुछ और प्यारे हो गए
tum juda hokar hame kuchh aur pyare ho gaye
tum juda hokar hame kuchh aur pyare ho gaye
paas rehkar gair the, abb toh hamare ho gaye
laut jaane ko kaha tumne magar kuchh iss tarah
laut jaane ko kaha tumne magar kuchh iss tarah
jindagi se maut tak ikraar sare ho gaye
jindagi se maut tak ikraar sare ho gaye
tum juda hokar hame kuchh aur pyare ho gaye
wasl ki abb chandani chhaaye na chhaaye gum nahi
wasl ki abb chandani chhaaye na chhaaye gum nahi
hijr ki raaton mein roshan chhand taare ho gaye
tum juda hokar hame kuchh aur pyare ho gaye
pyaar ke tufaan mein har mauj sahil ban gayi
pyaar ke tufaan mein har mauj sahil ban gayi
jis taraf dekha kinare hi kinare ho gaye
tum juda hokar hame kuchh aur pyare ho gaye
paas rehkar gair the, abb toh hamare ho gaye
Poetic Translation - Lyrics of Tum Juda Hokar
You, departed, now more cherished in my heart,
You, departed, now more cherished in my heart.
Near, a stranger, now you claim a greater part.
You spoke of leaving, yet the words you chose,
You spoke of leaving, yet the words you chose,
From life's first breath to death, our vows disclose.
You, departed, now more cherished in my heart.
Union's moon may fade, I feel no pain,
Union's moon may fade, I feel no pain,
Separation's nights, the stars now brightly reign.
You, departed, now more cherished in my heart.
In love's wild storm, each wave a shore became,
In love's wild storm, each wave a shore became,
Wherever I looked, only shores proclaim.
You, departed, now more cherished in my heart,
Near, a stranger, now you claim a greater part.

Comments for lyrics of song "Tum Juda Hokar"
RealMusicKing on Monday, July 11, 2011 Written by Rajendra Krishan, recorded for film "Jahan Ara" in 1964 but was taken out of the film. This ghazal has a little extra music added by Sanjeev Kohli for clarity. I have it's original version on a disc released by Music India(formerly Polydor) in 1981 titled
"A Treasure Revealed - Musical Memories Of Madan Mohan". This would be the best combination of Madan's love for Sitar, Sarangi, Violins, and Tabla.
Kay Cee on Friday, December 03, 2010 @KhurramDBG Well, I will appreciate it a lot if only you could suggest such
gems, whether in your stable or elsewhere. These numbers are priceless. In
hectic life styles of most of us these days, such laid back, soothing
renditions are a balm for those agitated nerves. Your recommendations will
be most welcome. Have a lovely day.
Nayyar Kamal on Saturday, June 08, 2013 Wonderful poetry by RK emotionally rendered by Talat in utter pathos.A
single word to describe only MM is MARVELOUS.
dramjadparvez on Sunday, November 21, 2010 This is one of the best songs of Talat. I am surprised that it remained
unreleased. Was it not from Jahan Ara?
salim khalifa on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 khurram'this is not just a ghazal but a master piece from the master MADAN
MOHAN. only people like ourselves can understand this.respect for posting
this.
