Lyrics of Tim Tim Karte Tare Ye Kahte Hai Sare - टिम टिम करते तारे ये कहते हैं सारे
tim tim karate taare, ye kahate hai saare
so ja tohe sapno me, nidiyaa pukaare
tim tim karate taare, ye kahate hai saare
so ja tohe sapno me, nidiyaa pukaare
tim tim karate taare, ye kahate hai saare
jahan bhi rahe tu raja, rahe khushhaal
aur kya duaayen tujhe, du main mere laal
jahan bhi rahe tu raja, rahe khushhaal
aur kya duaayen tujhe, du main mere laal
jug jug jiyo mere, naino ke ujiyaare
tim tim karate taare, ye kahate hai saare
so ja tohe sapno me, nidiyaa pukaare
tim tim karate taare, ye kahate hai saare
duniya ne kiya mujhe aisa majbur
karna hi pada tujhe ankhiyon se dur
duniya ne kiya mujhe aisa majbur
karna hi pada tujhe ankhiyon se dur
kuchh bhi jamana kahe main hu teri maa re
tim tim karate taare, ye kahate hai saare
so ja tohe sapno me, nidiyaa pukaare
tim tim karate taare, ye kahate hai saare
Poetic Translation - Lyrics of Tim Tim Karte Tare Ye Kahte Hai Sare
Twinkling stars whisper, their chorus sings,
"Close your eyes now, where slumber brings,
Close your eyes now, where slumber sings."
Twinkling stars murmur, a celestial plea,
"May joy embrace you, eternally,
More blessings I offer, my love, to thee."
May you live forever, light of my eyes, see?
Twinkling stars whisper, their chorus sings,
"Close your eyes now, where slumber brings."
The world has bound me, a fate I must bear,
To send you from sight, a grief I must share,
No matter the whispers, the world may declare,
Forever your mother, I'll always care.
Twinkling stars whisper, their chorus sings,
"Close your eyes now, where slumber brings."

Comments for lyrics of song "Tim Tim Karte Tare Ye Kahte Hai Sare"
yuanyuanyuanyin on Sunday, May 22, 2011 - You may be correct my friend.
IMDb and Wikipedia sometimes do not have absolutely correct details about these very old films.
To my knowledge, Ravi Shankar Sharma has not written lyrics for songs but again my knowledge in these things are absolutely minimal, I should say.
Hope some learned friend[s] will clarify this matter.
Thank you.
V. Siddhartha on Saturday, April 24, 2010 Oh, Yuan, this Lata-Meena combination will break into a thousand pieces the
heart of every mother whose child has been snatched away from her either by
law-enforcement authorities( as in this case) or by the hand of a cruel
fate. Extremely moving. Thanks.
Nihal Fernando on Monday, April 26, 2010 This is one of my favourite songs since I saw the film and heard the song
in 1959. It is a great pleasure to hear it again after 51 long years.
THANKS for posting it!
yuanyuanyuanyin on Saturday, April 24, 2010 - You are most welcome, my dear Professor and thank YOU for the very meaningful "new" comment, as you used to write every time.
Take care.
