Another absolute favorite from Manna Dey's repertoire. Besides a wonderful
rendition by him (with all those vocal curves and apt emotions) of this
beautiful lament, what a sublime composition he created. Madhukar
Rajasthani, known for his poems, many of which were tuned and sung by some
popular singers in the 60s, penned simple yet beautiful lyrics for this
song. Another masterpiece to be preserved forever. Thanks for the original
version of this precious, precious song.

I wonder why I didnot listen to this song before. Manna Dey is different
than any other singers for such wonderful classically trained voice and for
the composition by himself. sgtalageri ji, I am still searching the
appropriate word to exress my gratitude to you for posting such a wonderful
song. Please keep it up.
