Today, I hold my heart within my hand,
A tempest rises in my very chest.
Today, the soul may leave this mortal land,
But honor's flame, I will not let be suppressed.
Within, the Divine, without, the Divine,
With a truthful heart, why fear or fret?
He whom the Lord protects, none can enshrine,
As a shield, His grace, forever met.
The Khalsa shall rule.

Bow down the head in reverence three,
