बात की जाय तो उनकी चिर प्रतिद्वंदी सुमन कल्याणपुर के योगदान को भी नहीं
भुलाया जा सकता... चिर परितिद्वंदी इसलिए क्योंकि ऐसा माना जाता है जब रफ़ी
साहब और लता जी ने एक साथ गाने से मना कर दिया था तो सुमन कल्यानपुर ने रफ़ी के
साथ लता की वो कमीं नहीं होने दी और ऐसे गाने दिए जो शायद लता नहीं दे सकती
थी...और ऐसा भी माना जाता है की लता जी को उनकी जगह किसी और का लिया जाना पसंद
नहीं था

कलाकारों का भी योगदान है उसे हमें भूलना नहीं चाहिए। इस ह्रदयस्पर्शी गीत का
जब भी जहाँ भी जिक्र होगा इन फनकारों को भी याद किया जायेगा। जैसे कि मोहम्मद
रफ़ी ,सुमन कल्यानपुर, मजरूह सुल्तानपुरी और रोशनलाल और विशेष सहयोग के लिए
