Light the lamps before His feet,
Let the temple of the heart ignite.
If Krishna's grace descends, so sweet,
Why then embrace the darkest night?
The lotus throne within the breast,
Transforms to Krishna's Vrindavan.
Surrender life, and find your rest,
To He who guards all mortal man.
My eyes, like love-struck chakor birds,
Seek the moon, the youthful Krishna's grace.
Behold the world, with loving words,
Where little Nandlala finds his place.
Come, to the feet of Giridhar,
And sing His name, Radheshyam.
