Lyrics of Mujhko Is Raat Ki Tanhai Me Aawaaz Na Do (Female) - मुझको इस रात की तन्हाई में आवाज़ ना दो
mujhko is raat ki tanahaai me
aavaaz na do, aavaaz na do
aavaaz na do
jisaki aavaaz rulaa de mujhe
vo saaz na do, vo saaz na do
aavaaz na do
maine ab tumse na milane ki
kasam khaai hai
kya khabar tumako meri jaan pe
ban aai hai
mai bahak jaaun kasam khaake
tum aisaa na karo, aavaaz na do
mujhko is raat ki tanahaai me
aavaaz na do, aavaaz na do
aavaaz na do
dil mera dub gaya
aas meri tut gayi
mere hatho hi se patavaar
meri chhut gayi
ab mai tufaan me hun
saahil se ishara na karo
aavaaz na do
mujhko is raat ki tanahaai me
aavaaz na do, aavaaz na do
aavaaz na do
jisaki aavaaz rulaa de mujhe
vo saaz na do, vo saaz na do
aavaaz na do
Poetic Translation - Lyrics of Mujhko Is Raat Ki Tanhai Me Aawaaz Na Do (Female)
Do not call to me in this night's lone hour,
Do not call, do not call.
Do not,
Lest your voice should break my soul's deep core,
No melody give, no melody give,
Do not call.
I have sworn never to meet you now,
Do you know what torment grips my brow?
I might falter, break my vow,
Do not tempt me so, do not call.
Do not call to me in this night's lone hour,
Do not call, do not call, do not call.
My heart has drowned, my hope is torn,
By my own hands, my flight was shorn.
Now in the storm, I'm tossed and worn,
From the shore, no signal send, do not call.
Do not call to me in this night's lone hour,
Do not call, do not call, do not call,
Lest your voice should break my soul's deep core,
No melody give, no melody give,
Do not call.

Mani Menon on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 Thanks a heap, rumahaleji! I just love this song! Both the versions. It has
the Kalyanji-Anandji 'chhuppa' on it. This duo had as successful an inning
as the Shankar-Jaikishan duo. Dharmendra looked so young, so fresh and so
devastatingly handsome! Poor Kumkum! Despite being a superb actress and a
very good Kathak dancer, success eluded her and she ended up doing
supporting roles.
crazyoldsongs on Tuesday, June 08, 2010 beautiful lata version rarely heard . mukesh version was more popular and
more often heard on radio . lata ji fans and uploaders like you and ajauv
on yt have helped find many unheard gems of lata ji . thanks a million for
this sad beauty .
rumahale on Saturday, October 20, 2012 Great remembrances indeed. Looks like we are contemporaries, for I am still
fresh with Radio Ceylon and Ameen Sayani memories. Interestingly, I
continue to listen to Radio Ceylon (SLBC) Broadcasts. Thank you for rich
appreciation.
rumahale on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 Brilliant comments well matching the beauty of the song. I have noted with
concern about Kum Kum - so talent is not everything to be successful! Thank
you for liking and rich appreciation.
