Lyrics of Krishna Sudama (Part-3) - अंतर्यामी जान कर, मित्र हृदय की बात
antryaami jaan kar, mitr hridya ki baat
chaaval ki wo potali, khinchi apne haath
pahli muththi jab chaval ki
prbhu ne muh me daali
rang mahal ban gayi jhopadi
din sudama vaali
aur dusri muththi ka
jab prbhu ne bhog lagaya
ann dhan se bhandar bhara
apna aeshvary lutaaya
aur tisari muththi par
rukhmdi ne pakdi baanh
kaha prbhu kya tumhe hui
nij lakshmi ki anchaah
kaisi maya aapki, ye kaisa hai milaap
karat sudama aap hi, hot sudaama aap
ek ore lakshmi pati, ek ore kangaal
khub nibhaai mitrta, dhany dhany gopaal
prbhu dwaarikanaaht ki, ham lila darshaate hain
prbhu dwaarikanaaht ki, ham lila darshaate hain
krishan sudama ke jivan ki hain
katha sunaate hai, katha sunaate hain
krishan dukhiyon ke dindayaal
bolo re dhany dhany gopaal
krishan dukhiyon ke dindayaal
bolo re dhany dhany gopaal
krishan dukhiyon ke dindayaal
bolo re dhany dhany gopaal
krishana krishana krishana krishana krishana
Poetic Translation - Lyrics of Krishna Sudama (Part-3)
The inner knowing, a friend's heart's plea,
A rice-filled bundle, drawn to thee.
The first handful, a humble offering,
Into the Lord's mouth, a vision blossoming.
A palace of color, where a hut did reside,
Sudama's simple day, now glorified.
And the second handful, a divine grace,
The Lord consumed, filling every space.
Treasures overflowed, a bounty untold,
His own wealth poured out, brave and bold.
And on the third, Rukmini, with gentle hold,
Took the Lord's arm, a story to unfold.
"My Lord, what stirs you, this selfless deed?"
"My own Lakshmi, unwanted need?"
What magic is this, this union so deep?
Sudama becomes you, in slumber and sleep.
On one side, the Lord of all wealth and might,
On the other, the pauper, bathed in light.
A friendship so true, a bond to embrace,
Glory to Gopal, in time and space.
The Lord of Dwarika, His leela we share,
The Lord of Dwarika, His story to bear.
The tale of Krishna, and Sudama's plight,
A story we sing, with all our might.
Krishna, the friend of the suffering and weak,
Say, Glory to Gopal, the words we speak!
Krishna, the friend of the suffering and weak,
Say, Glory to Gopal, the words we speak!
Krishna, the friend of the suffering and weak,
Say, Glory to Gopal, the words we speak!
Krishna, Krishna, Krishna, Krishna, Krishna.
