But those who pen it, foolish play,
Like herdsmen lost, who pave the way
For language's nectar, taste unknown.
Such poets deem the words they've sown
As blackest ink to beasts are shown.
They drown the craft, the verse's art,
These scribblers tear the world apart.

Knowledge is God's, a gift of grace,

Above all others, stands sublime.
Yet, its creator, a bandit's deed,
From him we learn, we plant the seed.

For poets' hearts, on life's stage.

Two great singers - signing to fit the role of the actors - one who is a
stiff ignorant person who is asking the question - for whom Rafi is
singing, and Talat singing for a Guru who has to come across as a tender
compassionate person.

This song definitively demonstrates that Talat is more mellifluous than
Rafi when at his peak.In fact he is the best singer that we had so far
