When patience frayed, when spirit broke,
She crossed the Lakshman Rekha's yoke.
No painted palace held its gleam,
She fled from joy, a fading dream.
Kaliyug's Sita, adrift and flawed.
Failed and shamed, her spirit torn,
Once a sacred, worshipped form.
Wandering lost, from door to door,
Her essence drowned in tears she bore.
On thorns she found a fleeting sleep,
From flower beds, her soul did leap.
