Lyrics of Kal Raat Sadak Pe Ek Ladki Ladki Ne Mujhko Aawaj Di - कल रात सड़क पे एक लड़की लड़की ने मुझको आवाज़ दी

kal rat sadak pe ek ladki ladki ne mujhko aawaz di
taxy taxy taxy taxy taxy taxy taxy taxy taxy taxy
taxy taxy taxy taxy taxy mai wahi ruk gaya ye sar jhuk gaya
wo aage badhi najar jab ladi yu aankhe miche wo baithi piche
wo boli suno ghar war chalo mai bola kaha wo boli waha
jaha dil mile jara dil khile gira ke meter do ghut peekar
mai nind se jaga use le bhaga bhaga bhaga

bas bas bas aage mat pucho aage aage dekho
bas bas bas aage mat pucho aage aage dekho
gadi sahar se jab nikli us ladki ne mujhko aawaz di
taxy taxy suno suno taxy taxy
aye hasi nojawa fir ye mausam kaha
aye hasi nojawa fir ye mausam kaha
rat madhosh hai waqt khamosh hai
dil ki bate karo karo kuch kaho kuch suno

maine has kar kaha aye meri dilruba aa jara mere pas
mere lab pe hai pyas lag gayi wo gale gadi kisse chale
ruk gaye humsafar johu ke bich par
bas bas bas bas aage mat pucho
aage aage dekho bas bas bas bas bas bas
aage mat pucho aage aage dekho
sahil pe taxy jab thahri sahil pe taxy jab thahri
logo ne mujhko aawaz di
taxy taxy taxy taxy taxy taxy taxy taxy taxy taxy
taxy taxy taxy taxy taxy bola mai ji nahi taxy khali nahi

dono chalne lage dil machalne lage
dono chalne lage dil machalne lage
ek sunsan si jagah aayi ret par baith kar yu mila kar najar
baho se khich kar baho me bhich kar
usne mujhse kaha bekadar bewafa
kar gaya mai janab usne ulti nakab
sath baithi thi jo meri didi thi wo
bas bas bas bas bas bas aage mat pucho
aage mat pucho bas bas bas bas bas bas
aage mat pucho aage mat pucho

lyrics of song Kal Raat Sadak Pe Ek Ladki Ladki Ne Mujhko Aawaj Di

Poetic Translation - Lyrics of Kal Raat Sadak Pe Ek Ladki Ladki Ne Mujhko Aawaj Di
Last night, a girl, upon the street, did call,
"Taxi, taxi," a siren's thrall.
Taxi, taxi, a whispered plea,
I halted there, my spirit bowed, you see.
She stepped forth, eyes met mine, a shadowed grace,
Then closed her eyes, and took her seat in place.
"Listen," she said, "to my home we'll fare."
"Where?" I asked, and she, "Where hearts ensnare."
Where souls entwine, where blossoms bloom,
Meter dropped, two sips, dispelling gloom.
I woke from sleep, with her I fled,
Fled, fled, fled, where silence is bred.

Enough, enough, ask not ahead,
Look forward, what has to be said.
The car, it left the city's hold,
She called again, her story told.
"Taxi, taxi, listen, hear,"
"Oh, beautiful youth, where is this year?"
"Oh, beautiful youth, where has it flown?"
The night's in bliss, time hushed, alone.
Speak of the heart, share what is true,
Whisper a tale, and listen too.

I smiled and said, "My love, come near,
For thirst I feel, and longing, clear."
She leaned in, close, by my side,
The car's journey, where does it ride?
We paused, companions, 'midst the waves,
Enough, enough, beyond the graves.
Look forward, what has to be said.
Enough, enough, what has been bred.
Ask not ahead, what lies in store,
Look forward, and seek for more.
The shore, the taxi, at its end,
A voice called out, "Taxi, my friend!"
Taxi, taxi, echoing near,
I answered, "No, the taxi's not clear."

We walked along, our hearts ablaze,
We walked along, in life's maze.
A desolate place, a silent shore,
Upon the sand, we sat, and more,
Her eyes met mine, a tender gaze,
She drew me close, in life's long phase,
With arms embraced, her spirit bright,
She spoke to me, in the fading light.
"Unfaithful, heartless," she did claim,
And I, alas, the game I frame.
She turned, she lifted, her veil of lies,
The sister beside, before my eyes.
Enough, enough, ask not ahead,
Ask not ahead, what has been said.
Enough, enough, what has been bred,
Ask not ahead, the words unsaid.
