Rajesh Khanna is a serious actor; but in “Chhaila Babu” he looked most
glamorous, charismatic and handsome. In this late 70’s film when he was
having tough time, this one was a super hit. All the songs were super hit.
Kishore Da and Kaka single handedly pulled the movie. Normally it’s always
RD Burman with Kaka; but this time Laxmi-Pyare’s magic did the wonder. The
film heavily relied on the songs and Kaka’s magnetism … and it worked.
