Lyrics of Kaaheko Byaahe Bides, Are Lakhiyan Baabul Mohe - काहे को ब्याहे विदेश अरे लखियन बाबुल मोहे
kaahe ko byaahe bidesh are lakhiyan baabul mohe
kaahe ko byaahe bidesh are lakhiyan baabul mohe

kaahe ko byaahe bidesh

ham to baabul tore bele ki kaliyan
ham to baabul tore bele ki kaliyan
are ghar-ghar maange hai jaae
are lakhiyan baabul mohe
kaahe ko byaahe bidesh are lakhiyan baabul mohe
kaahe ko byaahe bidesh are lakhiyan baabul mohe

kaahe ko byaahe bidesh

hum to babul tore pinjare ki chidiya
hum to babul tore pinjare ki chidiya
kuhuk kuhuk rah jaye
are lakhiyan baabul mohe
kaahe ko byaahe bidesh are lakhiyan baabul mohe
kaahe ko byaahe bidesh are lakhiyan baabul mohe

kaahe ko byaahe bidesh

this is basically a sufi song written by AMIR KHUSRO, in common lanaguage
and describing a situation which even a common man can understand. BABUL is
house of god, and the human soul is complaining to god, that why did you
send me out of your house[house of babul] & send me to this unknown
world[this pardes], the song beautifully describes both the situtation,
separation of daughter from father, and separation of soul from god

I miss my papa so much when ever I listen this song. He use to tell my maa.
jab kabhi bhi meri maa mujhe marati thin to kahte the- etni dur eska byaah
kar dunga ki eski shakl dekhne ke liye taras jayogi...
