Mahishmati, the invincible, the greatest,
ten directions converge,
in reverence they bow.
Joyful, glorious, wealth untold,
blessed are the people here,
a heaven of power it was,
thunder rolls, a song of glory,
bow your head a moment,
this is the river of triumph.
Mahishmati's banner forever,
kissing the sky, as Ashwadeva and the sun god unite,
