When Subhash ghai looking for music director for the film he has two name
in his mind one is of Laxmikant pyarelal and second of Rahul dev burman he
asked one of his close friend for suggestion he said that your movie is
based on western music as its lyrics suggest when it comes on western music
R.D score over L.P when he told the thing to L.P they replied '' It is your
movie you are entitled to go to anybody you wish but atleast give us a
chance if after that you think of pancham you can go'' and that's how they
got the movie.
