composer and finally rendered by Pushpa Hans in a deep and immense doleful
voice ,she was not given her due share of appreciation thay she deserved
,Star crossed P,hans entered into filmdom at the time when Lata,shamshad
and Geeta dutt were already dominating on the singing horizon ,and there
was no place of her in this perfect competition,Apna Desh,was directed by

Thanks a lot Sir. Very rare gem of a video as well as song. Please upload
as many songs as you can from Apna Desh (1949). Pushpa Hans Ji was a very
great singing star, reaching her peak during 1948 - 1950. Chaman (1948,
Punjabi) and Sheesh Mahal (1950) are two more very famous films of hers.
She has a very great, sweet and powerful voice and is a talented actress.
Great job as always. Great composition and poetry as well.

Jis aankh ne shama dekhe na ho---- dard e parwana kiya jaaney jise Laila
aur Majnoon ka ilm hi nahin --ulfat ka fasana kiya jaaney Wah. What a
superb song. Pushpa hans is worth praise for this song. Simple but deep
