The drum of creation, the drum of void, the drum of all,
Lord Shiva awakens, a palanquin to call.
With ash he adorns, a journey starts anew,
Lord Shiva awakens, and the dawn breaks through.
As Shiva prepares, assembling all,
A trident of power, where shadows fall.
Ghosts and demons dance, a spectral spree,
Brahma and Vishnu, with scriptures free.
Conch, discus, mace, and bow,
Lord Vishnu follows, where the rivers flow.
He’s adorned, ready, with bhang in his hand,
Whispering always, of a faraway land.
A boy to be wed, a journey to take,
With ash he adorns, for goodness sake.
Lord Shiva awakens, and the dawn breaks through.
Upon the altar, a restless mind,
A mark on her forehead, of a different kind.
A black cobra beneath her throat,
A fiery whisper, a venomous note.
She throws the pot, flees from the scene,
Her amulet broken, her heart between.
Her companions linger, while Gauri stays near,
Unwedded, untouched, consumed by fear.
Parvati speaks, her wisdom shown,
"Embrace our path, for what is sown."
