| Vivek Shukla on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 A piece of me left today. With tears in my eyes, I'm listening to his
Ghazals. Growing up as a kid, Jagjit Singh's ghazals introduced me to music
and life as a whole in late 80s and 90s. I could drive many, many miles for
his ghazals concerts, and would do everything to get a handshake or a
picture with him.His ghazals taught me the philosophy of life as Jagjit
Singh sang for all of life's occasions. Oh, I will miss him till my last
 breath.

If she smiles at my request I will toss away my life At every bend, to
punish agnoy lets turn life into love If you forgot yourself then you
forgot nothing In her love I'll forget even God Never can touch the
whirlwind of suffering I will make those nests of loyalty At such
apocalypse, fools say to me lets unveil her face Punishes me, rewards me,
makes me, erases me But if only she will tell me her decision
