Colonel Rao on Saturday, November 17, 2012 GM Durrani sahib started his career as a radio artist and emerged as one of the best play back singers for many years, He was adored by Mohd Rafi sahib and he in fcat imitated him. However Durrani sahib had a tiff with a ledaing lady singer and thsi caused his decline. He later went to Haj and discontinued singing as Real Islam forbade singing. However time went by and he could not get his place back later. He died in harness and suffered bad days too.
