Lyrics of Aamli Ki Taamli Taamli Ke Gaon Me - आमली की तामली तामली के गाँव में

aamli ki tamli tamli ke gao me
sawli si jhume shyamli ke pao me
bichhu kat jata hai to shor mach jata hai
aamli ki tamli tamli ke gao me
sawli si jhume shyamli ke pao me
bichhu kat jata hai to shor mach jata hai
ib kya hoga ib kya hoga ram hosh na aaya
aa gayi sham log bhag jate hai vaid ko bulate hai

vaid raz aate hai aur farmate hai
tauba iske naam se mera nahi ye kam
aag ka na pani ka rog ye jawani ka
jise lag jata hai use lag jata hai
aamli ki tamli tamli ke gao me
sawli si jhume shyamli ke pao me
bichhu kat jata hai to shor mach jata hai

ib kya hoga haye ram ho gayi sabki nind haram
vaid chala jata hai jogi aata hai hari om shankar
kanta lage na kankar shyamli ko dekh ke wo farmata hai
jhut ki kahani hai jhut ka fasana hai
kaisa ye zamana hai bichhu ka bahana hai
meri aankho ko to kuch aur nazar aata hai
aamli ki tamli tamli ke gao me
sawli si jhume shyamli ke pao me
bichhu kat jata hai to shor mach jata hai

ib kya hoga haye ram kis zulmi ka hai ye kam
jogi chala jata hai jadugar aata hai
jadu vadu dal ke wo bhi har jata hai
sangi sathi sare ji chinta ke mare ji
ram ke sahare ji dard ke mare ji
shyamli ke muh se koi naam nikal jata hai
naam nikal jata hai ib kya hoga haye ram
ab to ho gaye wo badnaam
log jan jate hai pahchan jate hai
ek pardeshi ko dhund kar late hai

sajan aur sajni dono pakde jate hai
prem ki zanzir me dono jhakde jate hai
unko umar kaid ka hukam ho jata hai
unko umar kaid ka hukam ho jata hai
aamli ki tamli tamli ke gao me
sawli si jhume shyamli ke pao me
bichhu kat jaye uska byah ho jata hai

Poetic Translation - Lyrics of Aamli Ki Taamli Taamli Ke Gaon Me
In the village of Tamarind, a Tamarind tree weeps,
As Shyamali's feet sway, a shade that deeply sleeps.
A scorpion's sting, a sudden, piercing cry,
In the village of Tamarind, where Tamarind trees lie.
Shyamali's feet sway, beneath the darkening sky,
A scorpion's sting, and all the world must sigh.
What now, alas, what fate will now unfold?
Rama's consciousness fades, a story to be told.
Evening descends, the villagers all flee,
Summoning the healer, what will he decree?

The Vaid arrives, with pronouncements grim,
"Forgive this name, this is not within my whim.
This is not of fire, nor of water's flow,
A sickness of youth, a burning that will grow.
It grips the heart, it takes its final hold."
In the village of Tamarind, a story to be told.
Shyamali's feet sway, as shadows gently fall,
A scorpion's sting, and sorrow claims us all.

What now, oh Rama, sleep is lost to all,
The Vaid departs, a Yogi answers the call,
"Hari Om Shankar," he chants with sacred breath.
"No thorn, no stone, can touch, embracing death."
He gazes at Shyamali, and softly, he does say,
"A tale of lies, a deceptive display.
What kind of age is this, what cruel deceit?
The scorpion's sting, a bitter, hollow feat.
My eyes perceive a truth, a hidden art."
In the village of Tamarind, a breaking heart.
Shyamali's feet sway, as darkness gathers near,
A scorpion's sting, and whispers fill the ear.

What now, alas, whose wicked hand did this begin?
The Yogi departs, a magician enters in.
He tries his spells, his magic starts to wane,
Defeated, he retreats, consumed by pain.
Friends and companions, with worry they are fraught,
Relying on Rama, by sorrow deeply caught.
From Shyamali's lips, a name begins to rise,
A name escapes, beneath the mournful skies.
What now, alas, now shame will surely come,
The truth revealed, the damage overcome.
The world now knows, their secrets laid bare,
A stranger sought, a burden they must bear.

The lover and beloved, brought before the crowd,
Bound by the chains of love, their hearts now bowed.
A sentence is decreed, a lifetime to endure,
A lifetime they must serve, forever unsure.
In the village of Tamarind, a timeless tale,
Shyamali's feet sway, as shadows veil.
A scorpion's sting, the echoes start to boom.
