Let us not compare Rafiji and Lataji. Both songs required a different
adaptation per the situation in the movie and both singers excelled in
their rendition. It is outright silly to be saying one is better than the
other. Both Lataji and Rafi were required to sing the same song as solos
and they did a superb job. The title song of Mere Mehboob is one example.
Teri Aankhon Ke Siwa from Chirag is another example

depicting reality and social themes brought people together. It is a sad

One of Lata's best ever songs but you will never find this song listed
among any of th best songs' list. The reason being that this is a tandem
song and onfortunately, in our country, it is always the male version that
gets more attention.
