Lyrics of Aadhi Night Me - आधी नाईट में
aadhi raat me na koi sath me
akeli khadi kya mushkil me padi
aadhi night me tere town me
gundo ke aage ek ladki main khadi
aai kyu yaha, tumhe jana hai kaha
sunega mera case, fursat hai tere paas
be careful lady ye mera area
ye tera area rowdy maleriya
aabru aurat ki bach na paaye
to sab bekaar
ye kaahe ki sarkaar, kyu pehne ye star
aadhi raat ko aajaadi aai hai
aap jaiso ne raste pe laai hai
bekraai ka shraap chhod ke na jaayega
baapu ji ka ramraaj kaise aayega
vedo ne taalim di ho jaha
jeete ho tum log aise waha
naari ko puja jaaye jaha
sab kuch ye kaise mumkin waha
gaandhi ka watan mera watan
budh ki zamee mera chaman
ud ke chala humara panchhi
bajayega khushi ki bansi
chaand ko chhune ko, hum to paagal ban jaaye
chhin ke humara bulbul, egle le gaya
aayegi kis ke kaam likha
roti roti pe naam likha
mehbub dilbar jaanejigar
kis ja milegi kis ko khabar
tata keh do jaane waalo se
pyaar maango aane waalo se
Poetic Translation - Lyrics of Aadhi Night Me
In midnight's hush, no solace near,
Alone I stand, consumed by fear.
In shadows deep, within your town,
Before the thugs, a girl brought down.
Why came you here, where do you roam?
Will ears attend, and hear my home?
Beware, fair lady, this is my domain,
Your land a mire, a fevered stain.
A woman's honor, cannot be found,
Then all is lost, on barren ground.
Why this regime, these stars you wear?
From midnight's heart, a freedom's call,
Brought forth by you, who make us fall.
The curse of want, it will not yield,
How can Ram's reign, be revealed?
Where Vedas taught, and wisdom flows,
How do you live, in such woes?
Where woman's grace, is held so high,
How can such things, be passing by?
Gandhi's land, my sacred space,
Buddha's soil, where dreams embrace.
Our feathered soul, now takes its flight,
Will play a tune, of pure delight.
To touch the moon, we've gone astray,
Our nightingale, an eagle's prey.
Whose use is writ, this fate we bear?
On every bread, a name to share.
Beloved heart, soul's tender core,
Where will we meet, and know before?
Farewell to those, who fade away,
Seek love from those, who greet the day.
