That's how a QUEEN should be courted:) And THE amazing, magnificent, challenging,& tough Zeenat is a real life Empress for she has the very aura, confidence, style, & brilliance of a real queen! Bollywood's MOST AMAZING movie. I looooooove Dharam Veer! Such a perfect movie with a perfect cast. Dharam epitomizes a REAL MAN in this movie & MY DREAM MAN:) He is just the epitome of a MAN OF STEEL, lion heart:)

Manmohan Desai is a genius & my favorite film maker of all time!He truly knows how to be a perfect story teller in the MOST extravagant, exciting,& dramatic manner! SUPERB movie making style! Zeenat has never looked more stunningly gorgeous & Dharam has never looked hotter & manlier!

Masculine stereotypes pervaded global cinema during the 1970's, making his portrayal impressive, by virtue of its lack of egocentricity: Languishing with love, he sought to be worthy of Pallavi, rather than affording her token status. Dharam & Zeenat gave superbly humane portrayals, while enabling the suspension of belief, kudos to all & sundry for an unabashed magnum opus.

Classic Zeenie moment & Dharam jumping on the horse in his classic heart-meling "flirtatious" manner with that turned on look on his face as he is extra amused by her defiant & challenging ways:)
janingrigory on Friday, October 03, 2008 I love from 4:07 to 4:09 as she has that naughty smirk on her face, totally knowing she 'won' in the situation with Dharam, & deciding that he has begged enough so she can finally give in, in true empress fashion:) Of course, Dharam ended up winning as well since he won her heart after much effort:) Aaah, I LOVE DHARAM, that knightly passion & honor which is totally missing from today's Cinema:) No wonder their pairing was mega successful, history has spoken already in terms of Box Office draw:)
