Khusro Elley on Tuesday, March 06, 2012 This tune is copied from a French composition. I am amazed Salil Chaudhry
would want to do that, with all his talent. Neverthless it is incredibly
melodious.
Flagfalls on Wednesday, September 05, 2012 Well, he also copied Mozart and Bach in "aaha rimjhim ke pyare pyare geet"
and "itna na mujhse tu pyar badha". And "dil tadap tadap ke" was copied
from a Polish song.
amar kapur on Sunday, September 30, 2012 great song very melodious voices, great legends
Mani Menon on Saturday, October 06, 2012 Ameen Sayani's golden voice took me back to Radio Ceylon and Binaca
Geetmala. I can't help wiping the tears that suddenly appeared in my eyes!
rumahale on Sunday, October 28, 2012 Great memories indeed. Radio Ceylon transmission is available for a brief
period now in the morning i.e. 06.45 - 09.00 IST; also, made available
online.
Mani Menon on Sunday, October 28, 2012 Really?! Didn't know that. But is it THE Radio Ceylon of those years gone
by? Today, sadly, there's no Ameen Sayani. Neither is there Binaca
Toothpaste for that matter.
Mani Menon on Sunday, October 28, 2012 Those days Radio Ceylon scored over our own Vividh Bharati. While the
announcers of Radio Ceylon were lively those on Vividh Bharati sounded like
people reading out the day's obituaries. Even after all these years, I
remember very clearly 7am to 7:30 am was devoted to 'Ek hi Film ke Geet'.
7:30 to 8 was 'Purane filmon ke geet'. The last song used to be by
'Swargiya K L Saigal' . 8 to 9 used to be 'Aap hi ke
Geet'.
rumahale on Sunday, October 28, 2012 Well said again; I agree with you. Even now, the programme from 07.30 -
08-.00 with last song of Late KLS is continued; however, probably owing to
political compulsions, the RC has added Tamil programme from 07.00 - 07.30
IST. The gesture of paying tributes to the legends like composers, singers
continue. Regards.
Mani Menon on Monday, October 29, 2012 Thank you very much for the RC link you sent me, rumahale-ji.
carling sangma on Monday, January 13, 2014 Evergreen...!!!
Jagjit Singh Ishar on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 Hats off to Salil Choudhary for this wonderful composition. Evergreen

rumahale on Monday, June 29, 2015 Lyrics by Prem Dhawan
