After looking at this punjabbi pataakhaa Shyama, looks like your sleep is gone for ever!!

himsingz on Monday, September 28, 2009
Oh.. I have always been fond of Shyama. Just saw her again in Aar Paar.
Some of these stars who didn't make it as legends were indeed deserving in
every way. Rest, their destiny :-).

@nickkohri If I am not mistaken, her full name is Shyama Zutshi. She is
Kashmiri Brahmin. A beautiful lady, talented actress and has danced famous
songs in her time: Aye Dil Mujhe Bata De; Chhun Chhun Baje Payal Mori; and
this one of course.

This song pairing Asha and Geeta shows the gifted top gifted TALENT OP had.
It is amongst OP's top creations.

@j11994466s

This is not Shyama Zutshi. Shyama Zutshi started her career in 1934 with a film called Vishnu Bhakt. She looks nothing like this shyama. some other Shyama...?? Though she is very charming and I love the song :D

What a gem of a song... Doesn't anyone have the other Asha-Geeta duet from
this film "Jhooki, jhooki pyar ki nazar, dekhe unhe dil mein jhoomker" ?
Its quite as beautiful as this.. NO ONE to equal O.P. in such lilting
melodies that make you want to get up dance..

What a beautiful song! Asha and Geeta at their best. Shyama looks so charming. One of the most under used talent, the spark in the eyes and the mischievous smile are so endearing! Kudos to O.P. Nayyar. However , one couldn't help feeing a little sad that these wonderful compositions are wasted on a lack- luster movie.

@rajanmathew100 Indeed, Asha and Geeta ARE AT THEIR BEST. All credit to
O.P. who extracted the best out of them so elegantly.

Really a great joy to see the old movie song with artists of acting, song,
music, costumes and all those involved in selecting the location and
filming are all needs to be congratulated and to be greeted in making the
wholesome good song which is in fact showering happiness and joy to me and
my family! Thank you gentlemen in offering this nice song!

Another masterpiece from the Great O.P.Nayyar & beautifully sung by Asha &
Geeta in their sweet voices. The picturisation too is excellent.Shyama looks
gorgeous in her attire & looks modern for today's standards!!The music
resembles waltz & O.P. had used violin & accordian with great effect-thanks
Yuan for uploading this evergreen melody-U have a great taste in music,no
doubt about it!

Hearing-seeinng this enchanting song first time since youth. Many scenes
are shot at the various gardens of the Aarey Milk Colony. The place being
just five-six miles from home I used to make frequent trips there. Ah, the
tall Taad palms standing guard in the background, It was such an idyllic
place! Thanks, Yuan for digging out such simple sweet treasures.
