K ps on Monday, January 07, 2013 RAMAYYA VASTAVAYYA means--- Ramaji will you please come with me-- I have
given my heart to you. The male dance director was Heeralal. He used to
keep a batch who are adept in traditional social dances with roots in folk
workouts. Ramaji will you please come this way I have given my heart to
you. in your country which is alien people are used to exchange love for
gold and silver but in our country..in the shade of pain our hearts pulsate
hearing the word 'love'( translated for sample)
Farhana Syed on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 Shanker Jaikishan is in trouble. He has created an exceptionally great tune
and song. However, the song was tuned up for Rafi. And Rafi reciprocated
the tone, the tune and the velocity of the song. Sorry for Shanker
Jaikishan, the other singers could not hold the breath and he has to slow
down the song. If you noticed, Rafi took a very high rhythm as per SKs
direction, but the song had to be slowed down to accommodate the following
singers. Listen to the song again.
moon75866 on Thursday, March 15, 2012 @yoavzecarya High five to you, for watching & appreciating Indian cinema."
I give my heart to you,I give my heart to you" is the literal
translation. That said, it's rather tough to depict the actual meaning of a
song in Hindi. This is a sad love song, where Raj/Nargis are no longer
together & badly miss one another. What makes the song genius is how it fits
the situation of the movie, and that's exactly what Raj Kapoor/S-J
collaborations were all about. Sheer Genius!

Sriram Aravamudan on Sunday, April 29, 2012 Raj Kapoor: The road is the same, the travellers are the same I don't know
where the one lone star went and hid The world is the same, it's
inhabitants the same Who knows whose world got stolen In my eyes remain the
one who would tell you: "I gave my heart to you, I gave my heart to you"
Sriram Aravamudan on Sunday, April 29, 2012 Nargis: The memories kept returning, my heart kept hurting I never knew how
to console myself So what if you never came? So what if you forgot? I never
knew how to love and forget From there, from far away, do tell me sometime:
"I gave your heart to you, I gave my heart to you"
Sriram Aravamudan on Sunday, April 29, 2012 He: In that country, your foreign land Hearts are sold in exchange for gold
and silver Her: In this village, in the shadow of pain Hearts beat in the
name of love Under the moon and the stars, I sing in the night "I gave my
heart to you, I gave my heart to you"

deepak deshmukh on Monday, April 28, 2014 Rafi's Aalaps in the begining &end are very much haunting.Mukesh & Lata
both sang very well but Rafi's height & depth are really wonderfull &
incomparable. .Versatile Rafi should have been awarded with BHARAT RATNA.
