what a beautiful combination of music, voice, beauty, and dharmendra;s charm...above all the backdrop of our own India...unlike today's films shot in foreign lands...

beautiful song
i love it

MrPartha56 on Friday, August 03, 2012
Lataji under the baton of Laxmi-Pyare always sounded different. This composition seems to be tailor made only and exclusively for Lataji. How well the nature was brought into this song by the composers oh one of the greatest songs ever composed for a Hindi film.

the location of ARTHER SIT POINT at MAHABALESHWAR filmed give old remberance & give golden moments to enjoy the song all time!

iluvusa4266 on Friday, December 28, 2012
Hats off to such a romantic, beautiful song !! Such songs are not available anymore. Nowadays all you have is - Halla Gulla Dhoom Dharhakka; Maar Doonga; Jaane Nahin Doonga; Kaat Doonga - vulgarity, violence nothing but nonsense !! :(

Ramesh Thakrar on Monday, January 21, 2013
One of the finest compositions, difficult to sing

sudhakarsv2004 on Thursday, January 24, 2013
The soul of Indian music lied in that era... Music, singing, composition, lyrics & portraying of actors everything reflected the base of Indian culture...

Beautiful melodious song. I can keep lisetening to this refreshing song all day long. Hats off to those beautiful heroines like Asha Parekh that life to these wonderful songs by their superb acting skills. When we have such beautiful locations right here at home, who wants to see tall concrete buildings and fancy trains in some overseas location.

Vijay Soni on Sunday, April 14, 2013
Pal Achitya,
The source of this information is Annu Kapoor, Actor and TV anchor. There was a programme on Z TV called Antakshari, There was a quiz for the participant ki Iss gaane me Tabla kis ne bajaya hai? and while the participants were thinking about an answer,, in the back ground Santoor was being played to give a clue to the answer. Obviously nobody could answer. Annu Kapoor reveled the answer, Pt.Shiv Kumar Sharma.

The song really takes you out of this world. What a superb tabla performance!

Sougata Bagchi on Friday, April 26, 2013
Looks like this information needs to be confirmed once again. Once I heard Pyarelal saying Pt. Samta Prasad played Tabla with this song. Pt. Samta Prasad played tabla in a sequence in Sholay (1975) as well.

Sougata Bagchi on Friday, April 26, 2013
Why only the Tabla is being talked about ? Its Lata and 'the' LP who did it all.

Vijay Soni on Saturday, April 27, 2013
Sougata Bagachi, This is getting very interesting. Only two people can give correct answer,1. Pyaarelal G and 2. Pt Shiv Kumar himself.

Vijay Soni on Saturday, April 27, 2013
because every body knows Lata and LP, but nobody knows who the tabla player is. If it is really Pt Shiv Kumar, hats off to him. BTY, sorry , by mistake I clicked vote down icon.
